I've run out of money in retirement...will you?
Are you sure you won't?
Is your plan absolute?
Is your home insured for 'everything', and replacement value?
Fire, flood, storm, tornado, failed electrical wiring, old or rats-chewed...fire accidentally started by residents?
Amount of insurance $500,000 but only $15,000 for flooding? (as happened in bambuland)...people got caught...didn't read all the policy including all the fine print.
An older man (and wife) shown in a You Tube video who are living under a bridge, inherited a home somewhere in America, it was uninsured and burnt down, they couldn't pay the property taxes so the property was taken.
Poor, they became homeless...under the bridge is their new home.
Not substance abusers.
They survive on donations from food banks and a church.
The monthly fees in my village keep increasing every year, by the rate/amount of inflation, and so does everything in society. My pension does not.
I'll survive, but only because ...as promised, the federal govt pays me an aged pension. All of this pension money is spent in the community one way or another. Food, fuel, car tyres, car repairs, vets, life insurance, stores, village gardeners, staff, maintenance contractors etc
Every homeless/unemployed/elderly person in the West should get a pension amount (means tested) every FN.
