Also contributes to our understanding why, if you maintain a healthy CV system, it will likely be cancer that gets you in the end.  (also relates to telomere length, but that's a whole other topic)  On my mom's side there's a Methuselah gene there and their CV systems are going strong in their 80s, but cancer still picks them off.  Mutations build up and those cells that don't fall to apoptosis or necrosis, turn rogue.

Fascinating.  Had not heard of the condition. I come from very visual people who do various arts and photography and architectural/interior design stuff, so it's difficult for me to imagine that kind of cognition.

Today's NYT article on peecycling (urine as fertilizer for crops) is about an overdue idea that should be adopted widely.  Sorry no got link but will post if I can recover it.  Google new york times peecycling.

LOL at one scientist saying he got into the research "for the puns."

I'm sure the days just whiz by.
