WHISK

Just realized we have to go with OPENING LINE - since we will be picking at different times - and the consensus changes

Review, so you can make changes if you wish

https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

boz-  there should be no problem while as it seems kid who is suddenly a stickler for rules, is fond of posting at different times than others do in pick'em games. And while most people understand you get your picks in before the game starts, kid as I recall liked picking games at the half.

Kid didn't like being reminded that that was not a generally accepted pick'em principle.

He was very cranky in his attacking me for enforcing those universally understood principle.

kids-what are you gonna do, spare the rules, and you got an unruly asshole on your hands.

So you should probably feel free to get your picks in 3rd or 4th quarter, whenever its convenient, kid shouldn't have an issue with that.

Good luck and watch your wallet

To borrow from Little Big Man, your updated betting line is not worth the reversal of a whiskeypriest decision.

I don't pick on point spreads, but will let them stand for that. I also only bet where my knowledge and skill can aid me against the house, like with slots.

I never got into slots, I once played a quarter machine feeding it Susan B Anthonys-was a long night.

My game is "Go-Fish"

I generally only make personal bets when I can influence the outcome directly. Poker comes to mind.

In the late 70's, I did pay my spring semester of college tuition for my junior year with money I earned shooting pool in bars that fall.

Then again, that wasn't really gambling. It was perhaps a form of larceny.

Betting on football is rather lame. It impairs one's perspective of the game, as one is so consumed by the bet that one often fails to observe what is truly happening in the game.

I don't bet on too many individual stocks in the market, either, preferring to bet on the market as a whole, or segments of the market only.

I'm planning to sit out the first couple of weeks and gather some info and a sense of WTF is going on.

as posted earlier I feel wholly uninformed (insert joke here) on such matters to put money on the line

so I'm treating the first couple of weeks as my pre-season

although I am in a KO pool

KO pool week-1 Indy

betting on football is just another form of risk assessment and analysis

not unlike looking at the risk-rewards of investing in a specific stock, except investing in stocks and beating the market, is far more complicated and much harder.

Another tough season for NYC teams. Jets look hopeless so far against Bills. A dolphin reject as head coach?

Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!

Earliest KO I've suffered. I usually get Ko'ed in rounds 6-8, should have gone with choice #2 Bills.

Saw the 2nd half of the Pats-Fish game.

costly goal line tunover, but ground and pound seemed to work at least against the Flounders.

and D seemed Decent against Fitzy.

Next week is a tougher test-Seattle and Russell
