it kind of reminded me of "Name that tune" a TV show WBW.

Just a little harder catch phrase.

Name that Down and yardage to go and who gets the rock.

I can name that Down and yardage to go and who gets the rock in one coin flip.

This may not catch on.

Fair or perfectly fair?

In play-off only, play an additional 15 minute qtr, then revert to calling the other quarters, fifths, and then go drink.

All OT 15 minutes are played to the whistle, winner wins, if its a tie, then flip a coin, and play sudden death.

and keep drinking.

or keep it the way it is, and if a team's D can't prevent a TD, thems the breaks.

I would prefer they just played the whole 15 minutes (lather, rinse, repeat as necessary), but apparently the TV executives NFL felt that the games would run too long risk of injury would be too high, which is why the TV folks NFL shortened the regular season OT to 10 minutes.

Lasergate?

...that a fan at Arrowhead Stadium appeared to flash a laser on the Patriots quarterback on two occasions in the AFC Championship game, caught on camera by KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Mo.

You have to be a special kind of total loser to want your team to win so bad that you'd do that.

I understand your position.

I would rather both sides get to have an offensive series. Just seems the American way to me.

No, the American way is to pay off the refs, which apparently is what happened in this game. Roughing the passer, catches that aren't catches to keep drives alive...

The Patriots benefitted from a phantom roughing the passer call against Brady on 2nd and 7 on the New England 28-yard line.

Hogan still hasn't made that "catch", btw, unless the ground is allowed to help secure the ball, when you wear a certain uniform.

One such illusion is that Nietzsche actually said that.  Thanks for the "quote" though!!!!

Note "Goodreads" fails to provide a source for that quote. Like Einstein's supposed quote about the fourth World War, that "quote" is from none of Nietzsche's published or unpublished works.  In other words, he never said it.  Nice try, though.  Maybe you can try and play your "intellectual card" elsewhere?

But more to the point, if you think football is fixed and the refs are paid off why do you continue to watch and bore everyone here this time every year?

Since I could and did ignore him back then, did he credit crooked refs for the result of last year's Super Bowl?

He only thinks it is fixed for the Patriots.

And he only thinks that when they win.

IOW, his opinion is based solely on his trolling, as already noted by the lovely illustration.

Fun facts on the Chiefs last TD drive (that took them to a 28-24 lead with 2 minutes left)

4 incomplete passes

a fumble recovered by the Pats overturned by a phantom D-holding call

a 25 yard really iffy DPI call

a 40 yard gain on an obvious pick play that everyone, including an incredulous Romo, saw, but it escaped the refs attention (BB smashed his tablet on this play)

a 2 yd TD run

the Chiefs were gifted a TD

so spare me this BS that the Pats were the sole beneficiary of calls.

the better team won in KC.

Wouldn't one have to watch the game to see all that?
