The ending was good television, but the game as a whole was awful!

agreed that was a lot of bad football.

Matty was throwing ducks last night-no zip on ball, he looked broken.

Using -2.5 and O/U 45.5.

Philadelphia and the under

21-17 Eggles.

Little thing we call a perfect game, my friends

Win
WIN vs spread
WIN vs O/U

- by the way - openings in score predicting contest if anyone is interested - just need an e-mail from you.

Why?

a few guys shared their prediction.

and we lost, mostly due to Matty Ice gakking repeatedly in the red zone.

Congrats on your perfecto.

And I'll pass on your pool I'm in a couple already one against spread (0-1) one KO (still alive)

CNN agreed.

And despite that, they came within one good pass of winning. I want to say of the Eagles, "That was the offense the Patriot's defense couldn't stop?!"

Surprising BB couldn't come up with some gametime modification in strategy or sub packages to blunt the force of Foles.

very strange.

KO pool

wk-1 Ravens

not feeling great about the Pats today of for the season, although they are still favored for the AFC and SB.

IMO a lot of risky/poor draft choices and questionable trades have left them vulnerable and unathletic.

BB's a great coach and he will need all his skills to coach up the team BB the GM stuck him with.

Had mypicks ready to submit today, then my internet goes out

Faced with a 3 minutes to deadline - had to redo entire page so I quickly posted a "loser gets 17 points" model.

Here is what I ended up with mostly favorites covering:

Steelers -5.5
Vikings -6
Indy -3
Ravens -7
Giants +3
Saints -9.5
Pats -6.5
Dolphins +2
Chargers -3
Broncs -2.5
Cowboys +2.5
Arizona PK
Packers -7.5
Lions -6.5
Rams -4.5

Over/unders I have

I have just Saints, Packers and Ravens games going OVER the points

What a mess, but may work out.

At half-time, are you feeling any better about today?

Looks like I had Deshaun Jackson a year early

heh

Meanwhile Schurmur goes for 2, down 5 with ten to play - interesting.  I liek the gamble, but now they have to go for 2 again if they score.
