I don't know what you were seeing. I saw Garrett pick up Rudolph's helmet and try to hand it back to him, only to have two Steelers jump him, punch him throw him to the ground and start kicking him in the head. I call on the Cuyahoga County prosecutor to file charges against Pouncey for assault. I also think we need to out the whistleblower who started the whole thing. I think he is a Never-Bakerer with an anti-Browns bias.

Clete Blakeman has served both the AFC and NFC honorably with no discernible evidence of favoritism, He has blown the whistle as best and as hoestly as possible.

He is neither anti-Brown, nor anti-Steeler.

Athletes who read books can be violent, too, you know. As we try to make sense of Myles Garrett’s harrowing display of rage Thursday night, let’s rip off that bit of naivete and prejudice. Learned people can be as vicious as anyone.

Garrett, a Cleveland Browns defensive end, isn’t the anti-football player because he can talk astrophysics and recite poetry, because he aspires to be a paleontologist. Most of the shock that he could lose his mind starts there: How can such a soft-spoken and bright dude swing a helmet and assault a quarterback? Why would Garrett, of all athletes, act in such a visceral and frightening manner?

Clearly, I need to watch the footage.   Seems to be multiple interpretations of who the principal aggressor was.  And whether it's handing or whacking.   My daughter, her first boyfriend whacked her with a football helmet,  and swiftly passed into boyfriend history.
