He might have been the greatest lacrosse player of all-time as well.
Though I have not looked it up, I am confident he is the only person in both the pro football hall of fame and the lacrosse hall of fame.

Happy GOAT Day!

Today is the birthday of both the greatest football player of all time and the greatest basketball player of all time. Jim Brown is 85 today.

It has been over 50 years since the last time he threw a woman off a balcony, so there is that.

Happy birthday to Mr Brown.

I saw him play for the Browns several times, but never saw him play lacrosse, the sport he was reportedly really good at.

And I was unaware he was the greatest basketball player of all time, or that he had a claim on the title. My guy for that title, a Mr. Russell, celebrated his 87th a few days ago.

Of all his great runs, and he had a lot, I always thought Brown's most impressive was his roof-top hand grenade RPO in Dirty Dozen, blowing up the German High Command as they were getting drunk and laid.

If not for Brown, we'd likely be speaking German today and Red would be Haupt Moderator here in Elba!

Oh... it is also Jordan's birthday. Sorry. MJ never tossed a girlfriend off a balcony or attacked one with a shovel.

and happy birthday to MJ too.

He was a nice player, took him a few years to find his footing and finally get past the several teams who had stymied him in his early years.

it took MJ 4 year to win once he he hooked up with Pippen

Point still stands-it took MJ 7 years to win a championship, after getting his ass kicked by the Celts and Pistons for the first 6 years of his career.

Its surprisng how many people don't know this about MJ.

Kid if you need help with the PBnJ-you should probably do it in another forum

Rocco and Vinny are steamed.

Brown is quoted as having said, "I'd rather play lacrosse six days a week and football on the seventh."

Carson Wentz to Indiana: https://sports.yahoo.com/report-eagles-trade-qb-carson-wentz-to-colts-for-multiple-draft-picks-164914417.html

The Eagles traded Carson Wentz to the Colts on Thursday for a 2021 third-round pick (No. 85) and a conditional 2022 second-round pick, according to multiple reports.

The 2022 pick would become a first-round selection if Wentz plays in 75 percent of the offensive snaps next season, or if he plays 70 percent of the snaps and the Colts make the playoffs.
