Straight up, no spread:

TB, which come to think of it also stands for Tampa Bay.
Buffalo. I think Piss burgh is a 500 team in Ben's last year.
In my mind I'm going with Carolina
Jags v. Houston oh Jesus, why is this game played? Jags.
Arizona is my pick to be the NFLs most disappointing team. Tteennnneesseeee.
Boy, ATL and Philly seem a long way from their Super Bowls. I have a strange vested interest in Hurts. He is what happens when you blackmail your fantasy league into a labor day draft and do not show up.. Eagles
Let Russell cook? Seattle is cooked. Colts.
Based on my knowledge of my fellow Spartan alum Cousin's not.getting vaccinated is the least surprising thing since the original Dream Team played Mongolia, or whoever. He will miss at least two games,, minimum in protocol. But not this week.. Vikings.
Detroit is going to suck harder than a tick on a mule. 49ers.
20 -0 is within reach! Browns
Hmmm.... Dolphins in the Bama QB bowl.
Teddy the Bridge QB to nowhere... Broncos
NOLA is fading in a sad post Brees way. Packers.
Nice that Stafford gets to play on a team with skill players and Aaron Donald. Rams.
I think good defenses will figure out Jackson this year. QBs who do normal exceptionally well are harder to defend than those who are exceptional at the unique. Vegas Vegas Vegas!

Beautiful post, sir.

that was a real fun game

More fun for the TB fans than the Cowboy fans, but yes, I liked it.

And the announcers nailed it when they talked about Prescott and the 'Boys not wanting to leave any time for Brady.

They left too much of it.

Give brady a minute and he'll cut your heart out.

9 for 19 when needing a field goal with under 3 minutes left.

I thought that was awful until I looked at everybody else's numbers.

Getting field goals instead of touchdowns continues to be a bad strategy. Missing them is worse.

Name an NFL quarterback who played at least 150 games and had more 4th quarter comebacks than he had losses.

Big Ben is second on the comeback list?

Only for active players.

And there are two things you need to be high on that list:
A long career
A lot of games in which you are behind.

The stat I like is Comeback Wins/(CBW+Losses) - it tells what the precentage of games you won among those in which you were behind.

Over 33% is pretty good. So far, I'm only aware of one person who is over 50%, with 150 games played or more.

Bens W/L record is 156-74-1

according to Football ref he has 46 4th qtr game winning drives.

so...

what am I misunderstanding, other than all the other shit I misunderstand?

and fwiw I'd add a third requirement

an accurate long distance FG kicker.

Nice to see that after 20 years, some folks, are coming around on that 44YO  QB from Michigan.
