BB seems to have solved the Jets offensive code. #1 in 22 the draft that is. No top rated WRs which they need desperately.

Just one upset for me today - and it's the LA Rams - which is more like a pick em.  Should be a great game.

IIRC got about 4-5 dogs in my ATS pool

Last couple of weeks have been dog heavy

I have the Pats covering at -2 1/2

low confidence in what could be a trap game for the Pats as a much ballyhooed game awaits next week

I'm thinking a tight low-scoring affair marked by turnovers cashed into FG.

It will be interesting to see if Jones portfolio is expanded further down field in what could be a challenging game.

And BB might not want to tip off to soon what he has or has not in Mac.

Pats 23

Saints 17

I too once met a girl in Central Park, but it is not much to remember. What I remember is the time John Wayne killed three men with a carbine as he was falling to the dusty street in Stagecoach, and the time the kitten found Orson Welles in the doorway in The Third Man.

Trap snapped shut on Pats today.

Pats O-line was beyond putrid.

Pats offensive position players (except law firm of Jacoby & Meyers) smelled just as bad.

Mac played ok, given no O-line, and no support.

He's going to be pretty good,

If he can survive the challenges presented by his NO-line and position players.

They may lose by 30 next week.

No I do not miss Cam nor do the Pats.

Mac had it rough today, and had to make do with little help. He played ok, forced to pass to receivers who could not separate.

They missed White and I hope he's ok, but as already posted they missed an O-line that could pass and run block.

They could use Trent Brown to return ASAP.

The story of this game was NO-line, turrnovers and a blocked punt.

Pats vets were terrible.

The rookie was ok.

Newton was sub-500 as a Pat starter, managed to make everything about himself and seems to have lost a lot off his fastball. Hard-pressed to figure out how he could be missed.

If you shot at him and had bad aim, he would be missed.

Nah

He was poised for a nice bounce back.  A fine leader.  But Bill wasnt comfortable.  I understand that.

Nah

Cam was outplayed by the rookie and you were informed of that. Mac showed he had the right stuff. Now it could have made sense to start Cam and let Mac watch for a few weeks, but the leader Cam made himself unavailable for practice in the last week of preaseason, and the vac issue was probably an issue.

So BB rightly concluded having Cam in the wings would likely be an unwanted distraction for a rookie QB . So he looked forward to Mac and not backwards with Cam.

Nothing Cam did indicated he was poised for a bounce back.

That's a fascinating conclusion to draw for a guy who never watched him play and only draws with crayons.
