Miami had the no-name defense in the 70s

Pats unveiled the no-show D last night.

there was a D in the Dolphins, there is no D on the Pats.

I thought the Pats would lose last night but not to piss themselves.

Poor ending to a decent season.

Yeah there was a lot on the young Pat QB. A little defense by the Patriots would have helped immensely.

The Pats only real chance for a win was a sloppy/ smash mouth game with turnovers and mistakes and punts that pinned the Bills deep and maybe they could eke out a 17-14 win. But the Pats D no showed and they were trampled by a deeper and better Bills team that was prepared to go to war. The Pats were preparing for golf in Cancun. They peed themselves.

Bama Mac was along for the ride this year and he showed reasonably well (arm strength aside) next year the stakes are upped and we'll see what we got.

Pats need to, IMO, draft a killer WR first thing. Or sign a killer WR in FA. Preferably draft the Arkansas guy, or one of the OSU guys. Mac is a pure timing QB IMO with little to zero scrambling coming out of him. It's all 1-2-3-4 with him. He's got some mobility but not much and he takes forever to get his butt moving. I like the guys arm but his mobility sucks. Thus, 1,2,3,4,. Give him good WR's and he is going to thrive because he's usually going to get off before 3.

Last three mocks I have seen, Pats were taking a DB, a DL (guy from GA) and a WR (tall guy from USC)

Wide open.  Could also be a trade.

Giants at 5 and 7 much more interesting.  Is Hutchinson good enough to attempt to deal up for?

No. At least not for the Giants. The difference between him and what will be available at 5 is not that great. And while I think he is really good, he is not a Bosa Young Garrett level of talent.

I think if the Giants don't fix their OL they will continue to be TOAST. Cross, Linderbaum, Green. Or Neal, Linderbaum, Green. The only other guy, if I were picking for the Giants, that I would be interested in is Stingley, a once every ten years caliber of talent IMO.

The Utah linebacker Lloyd has been mentioned.   Wouldnt mind that.

And if not sold on Jones why not take a QB?

Second, who thinks the Bengals better get a couple of O-linemen in the off-season? LOL

Because there is no QB i would take at 5 or 7. Or, relevantly for me, 13.

Neal or Cross, Thibodaux or Hutchinson, Stingley. One of those guys is available at 5. Depending on who you get at 5, Ekwonu or Lloyd, maybe Hamilton. Not as sold on the Purdue DL as some.

Good player I like him. No slam dunk QB really available IMO.

No comments on today's games at all?! Weird.

A lot of people likely lost a lot of money on that Packers game!

Wonder if the underdogs will win both games again tomorrow. I'm hoping the Bucs win, but would love for the Bills to knock out the chiefs.

We've spent more than a decade listening to Rodgers and the Packers lament their missed opportunities, and this one feels even bigger than the rest.

From NFL (dot) com.

Pretty hard to sell Rodgers as the best of all time with performances like this one.

Terrible call by the video review. But whoever was calling the Bengals offensive player should be looking for a new job

I am happy SF won in the frozen tundra. Cold could have been detrimental for Brady and Bucs my favorite.
