Kobe seemed the obvious choice, but 35.4 is Jordanesque.
I was a bit surprised on 21 year old LeBJ.
That's when he was still deciding his identity as a scorer, passer, all-around stud.
Also, LBJ scored over 30 with weak outside shooting (just 33% on 3's). But he was unstoppable in transition and on drives.
Arenas had one more healthy season in him, finishing 3rd in scoring at 28.5 the next season.
Odd that the Top 3 scorers in '06 were so high and all career highs. Wonder if there were any rule changes or expansion teams to help explain that.
I looked at kiid's answer quickly and thought it meant '06 was pre-Bron. Now I see you meant Wade, pre-Bron. Wade won the scoring title 3 years later in '09, just a hair over 30 (30.20 ppg).
