Nice bounce back game from Uber: 30 / 7 / 3 / 2 steals

Tank the Frank with B2B strong games.
Coming out of a long funk.
Good to see.

Tyler J with 0 Pts and a +22.

ATL-PHX combined for 42 Turnovers.

Cam Reddish with a 2.52 PER

I am ragging on Fizz and getting bummed about our chances before every game from now on.

When the players come in for practice they need to find “every game is a Mavs game” taped above their lockers.

This year's rooks voted Reddish most likely to have the best career.

I haven't ever seen him.
But I feel sorry for him to endure such a poor start.
A lot of folks were saying that he got into a perfect situation.

Some guys have trouble adjusting to NBA game speed, and/or the demands of travel, the grind,  the mental focus, the bank account, etc.

Anyway, super early in his career.  But confidence can be a fragile thing.

OKC beat PHI.   OKC is better than expected 5-7 and PHI 7-5 is worse that expected.

Dinwiddie had a nice game with Kyrie out.
Problem is they have as very similar game, but of course more scoring wizardry from KI.  Joe Harris 22 & 8 assists.

Clips eviscerated the Hawks by 49 with Kawhi sitting and PG in charge.  37 Pts in just 20 mins!

Cam Reddish shot poorly, but filled up the stat sheet some (4 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks), but a whopping -45.

If you're a rook shooting 18% on 3's, you shouldn't be jacking 3.5 per game.  He started his career 1-18 on 3's.  Went 3-3 in his 7th game, then 3-20 since.  Except for that one game, hasn't made more than one 3 in his 11 other games.  Except for that one game, Cam be a 10.5% 3-Point shooter.

Random list of guys I'd like to have on my team (in no order):

Pa Bev
Motrezll
Rich Holmes
Brogdon
Josh Rich

Brad Beal
Sabonis
Shai
Middleton
Covington

Devonte Graham/Coby White
Smart
Bam
OG
DeJounte (caveat need to see him more post-injury)
Uber

RJB
Mitch

Mostly 2-way players, defenders, guys who play hard.

I certainly wouldn't mind Dev Book, Don Mitchell, Siakim, Giannis etc. but those are young franchise guys not likely to be on the move unless their team is as dumb as the Knix with KZ.

Some 2nd unit role players:
Meyers Leonard, Alex Len, Taj,

Check out the Celts-Sack highlight.
With 16 secs left in a tie game, Smart crashes in for an O-board.
Holmes blocks his putback effort.  Both fight for the rebound, wrestling each other to the ground.  (Smart got called for a loose ball foul).  Holmes hits 1 of 2 for a go-ahead Pt.  Smart comes back with a floater (over Holmes) that bounces around and rolls off.

Gotta love the effort from those guys.
Mofos compete and want to win.
On my team any day.

Thiose guys will leave their teams - if they do not win.  SIAKAM - no.

Quote
Luka Doncic grew up idolizing LeBron James, and now the young NBA prodigy has joined James in the record book.

Doncic scored a career-high 42 points to go with 12 assists and 11 rebounds as the Mavericks held off the skidding San Antonio Spurs 117-110. Doncic is the second-youngest player in NBA history to have a 40-point triple-double, after James. They are the only two players to record 40-point triple-doubles before turning 21.

Doncic has an NBA-leading six triple-doubles in 13 games this season.

Doncic with a 35 Pt triple double ... in 26 minutes.
The guy is Top 5 in the early MVP race.
Can't tell me you can't compare him to Bird due to skill level/ability.
If you think their skills diverge, that's a different distinction.

Tim Jr. got the start and had his best game of the season.
20 & 4 Ass in 22 mins.
Might turn out that Tim needs to play with Doncic to play his best.

Pa Gasol made $220M in his career.

Probably had some sort of sponsorship deals as well, maybe in Spain.

Played 6.5 years in Memf, and an equal 6.5 in LA.

Better game from Melo.
I liked that right away he decides to post up Giannis and loses the ball.  His 3's are falling which is a start, and could be helpful once Lillard returns.  And of course Melo played at PF with Tolliver at C (as Whitehead was out).
