Just a 5 in Elite 8.

An early loss for Michigan State (though I picked them) is always nice so the annual love-fest for Izzo can stop.  "He's so passionate!!! He's in his 'kids' faces because he loves them all so much!"

His team down two to Auburn.
6 seconds left.
He takes it the length of the court has a WIDE open layup to tie

BUT Instead he passed it back out to the three pt line??

the three pt shooter gets fouled?!!!

He misses two of three shots!!!! 


Ball goes out of bounds and NM State maintains possession down 1 with 1.1 seconds to play.

They get a great look in the corner to win the game off the out of bounds play.... but Auburn survives on the missed three.

I think the idea was to set up the 3 to win rather than risk OT agaisnt a better team. Probably the coach's call.

Meanwhile, MSU benefits.from Izzo's center of the storm calmness in dealing with his players to hold off a.deter.ined Bradley.
