Oilcan asked because Red earlier claimed to be in that group.  We will probably never know why Pete B.  being "a poster child for the Alphabet People" is somehow acceptable to someone in that group.   Given that the phrase "poster child" came from a child who has a disease and is pictured in posters to solicit funds for combating the disease, and that is still the first definition in Merriam Webster, I would not imagine most LGBTQ people would welcome being identified with a disease.

Buttigieg is certainly one of the highest profile members of the Alphabet People in the Federal Government we have. He was a presidential candidate and is now a Biden Cabinet member. Before that he was elected Mayor of South Bend.
His gender and sexuality are facts. Biden made that a point of emphasis in pointing out the diversity of his appointments.

So how do we respond to Buttigieg s job performance?

During this supply chain mess he was on a 2 month leave because of a newborn child. 
When he comes back he blames the supply problems on increases in demand thanks to Joe Biden steering us away from a recession. Polls have Biden favorability at 38%.
His Build Back  America boondoggle would increase paid family leave substantially.
