Didn't click on that but.... SQUIRREL!

Meanwhile back in my America, where your word is supposed to mean something, Collins and Manchin point out that in the confirmation hearings Kavanaugh and Gorsuch lied to them.
 Yep.  Glad you noticed, kids.

Both Susy and Joe need Anger Interpreters, who can decode "we were misled" as "they lied their motherfucking asses off."
Already exists since confirmation hearings are televised and recorded,

Justice Gorsuch: Roe v. Wade, decided in 1973, is a precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court. It has been reaffirmed. So a good judge will consider it as precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court worthy as treatment of precedent like any other.
If I were to start telling you which are my favorite precedents or which are my least favorite precedents, or if I viewed precedent in that fashion, I would be tipping my hand and suggesting to litigants that I have already made up my mind about their cases.

And here is Justice Kavanaugh:

Roe v. Wade is an important precedent of the Supreme Court. It has been reaffirmed many times. It was reaffirmed in Planned Parenthood v. Casey in 1992 So that precedent on precedent is quite important as you think about stare decisis in this context.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett expressly rejected the idea that Roe was a super precedent.

A note on Roe V. Wade being reaffirmed in 1992.
The plurality opinion was by Anthony Kennedy, Sandra Day OConnor, and David Souter, all appointed by GOP Presidents.
(Reagan and Bush,Sr.)

Hope this helps

What he said: If I were to start telling you which are my favorite precedents or which are my least favorite precedents, or if I viewed precedent in that fashion, I would be tipping my hand and suggesting to litigants that I have already made up my mind about their cases.

What he was thinking when he said it: And the fact is, I have already made up my mind about their cases, and since I want this lifetime cushy job, I'm going to pretend that such a stance is abhorrent to me, when in fact, it is exactly how I'm going to act, you dumbass motherfuckers!

The GOP's Taliban court is still busy shredding your Constitution.

Besides, as Sotomayor's dissent says, the majority's ignoring the pressure caused by the coach's actions, this overly broad decision fails to provide any guidance on what is or is not an acceptable rule or law.

"No overt coercion" is a pretty stupid standard as is the claim that yarmulkes would be forbidden under the school's rules.

I can think of only one school system in the country in which a student has claimed to have felt coerced to participate in Judaic activities. And it wasn't about wearing a yarmulke.

And what he also meant was "no precedents are important to me, so I will treat them equally - that is, if they suit me, I will seem to respect them."

Let's see how this Court rules when a Muslim-dominated school takes state money, and asks has its teachers leading prayers each day, in lieu of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Not better now.

As anticipated, the push for a national ban on abortions has begun:

I thought you always said Americans favor keeping abortion legal?

The prison industrial complex and its lilly white investor class needs to devour millions of womens bodies to stay afloat financially. If your wife or daughter get swatted for missing a period, that is just the price republicans are prepared for you to pay.

Just because his position is wildly unpopular does not mean republicans will not turn it into an enormous bloody grift. Trump attempting a second term by overthrowing the government is a prime example of an illegal, unpopular, and stupid cause being used by fascist grifters to raise hundreds of millions of dollars from the terminally dumb and congenitally cruel in our society. Pence plans to use the equally bloody stupid idea of a national abortion ban the same way.

The polls say it.

But with this court, all it will take is the right court case for them to rule as Pence wishes.

And even without, if Pence (or somebody with similar feelings) were to win, an executive order banning abortions nationally would then provide the case.
