Larry seems upset that last June I told him it was a 50-50 world

and that Joe's #1, #2, #3  job was covid- relief and fixing the economy and getting wins and building momentum for '22

and it came out 50-49.

Larry that's the politics that gets in the way of your preferred policies

I warned you Larry

But you only heard what you wanted to hear.

So you changed the subject.

Sen. Lindsey Graham told "Axios on HBO" that Donald Trump has a "dark side" but he tries to "harness the magic" because he succeeded where Republican candidates like John McCain and Mitt Romney failed.

yeah, and fuck the insurrection.

Except it isn't a 50 - 50 world.

Joe Biden's political world, the relevant one in which he deals and where policies get shaped, and the one we were discussing since last June, is for all intents and purposes 50-50.

This past week-end it was 50-49.

I was off a little, but close enough.

But if you want to change the subject again please feel free.

Sam should not have broken his contract with her.

Once the NFL told Sam to show up without cameras and without Oprah, and tryout like every other NFL roookie, Sam had little value to Oprah.

He was just another rookie

there was nothing for her to sell.

Oprah understood it

and Sam understood it

I'm sorry I hurt you so deeply Larry that you felt compelled to drag up all the hurt from over the years.

I hope you find an easing of your pain.

But as others have suggested perhaps you should deal with your pain on your own time and not in a public forum.

"Others" is plural.  Aside from one troll,  I see no "others" suggesting anything but that you all let it go.  Seriously,  try chess.

If this exchange is evidence, I might suggest checkers, instead. Or tic tac toe.

The beliefs about "success" in internet arguments, let alone the strength of those "victories," alone is more than enough to raise doubts about strategic thinking.

Nor are this poster or this back-and-forth even remotely unique in that regard.

The only way chess enters the picture is with a pigeon.

Meanwhile, in meaningful discussion:

Thoughts on this pair of charts?
.....

I note with little surprise the Dakotas both rank higher percentages of unsheltered homeless.   A sizeable number of Native Americans in that category.   Though some are skilled at "living rough" it's quite perilous when we get a cold snap like we had a few weeks ago,  with lows around minus twenty.

Bart I saw you, OC, whiskey, Uno and kid all post variations of that theme, They were either critical in some manner or wanted an end to the back and forth.

And I said "fine" I had no interest in relitigating Larry's lies from 9 months ago

But Bart why is it that Larry who changed the subject and wanted to re-engage in an all but dead topic from 9 months ago, to presumably avoid a real political discussion of a 50-49 vote and its ramifications, avoids your searing criticisms?

Seriously bart go fuck yourself and your white guilt.

I don't share it.

I hope that's ok with you.

Good 60 Minutes piece last night re:  homeless and COVID - focused on Ohio - but with same points made.
