Why should climate change denial be allowed?  The globe got warmer, that really happened.  Freedom to express opinions, no matter how untethered to reality, can be countered by our freedom to push back and point out the falseness.  The price of free speech laws is that some speech will be fact-free hogwash.  And you are blessed with the freedom to point that out.  It also means, as Chomsky famously pointed out, that powerful elites can't control what is said or what topics are permitted or what questions an ordinary person may ask.  Chomsky is anti-elitist, something I would think you could appreciate.
