“Matt Gaetz seems to only open his mouth to change feet.”

This can be said of nearly everyone still in or with the republican party these days.

He’s in New Jersey. His governor has him on the watch list due to his browser history. He’s noticed no change at all to his social or professional patterns due to Covid hitting the world.

Nothing that happens in Georgia or Texas or Arizona or Florida or in or to many other states will stop him laughing.

"Exercise your right to free speech and we will punish you. It's the Republican way."

I suspect the Georgia GOP will regret that decision more than Delta will, tbh, Kid.

It's the same principle you are always cautioning Dems about wrt raising taxes.

If the GOP wants to push Delta out of Atlanta and Georgia, I suppose they can, but that $35 million looks pretty paltry compared to what GA will lose if Delta decides to go elsewhere, even somewhat.

Also... I don't think the voting public is going to side with the GOP on this. I gather you do.

Quote
With 33,000 employees statewide, Delta is Georgia’s No. 1 private employer, directly responsible for $43.5 billion in economic impact a year.

Delta is one of Georgia’s most powerful engines for economic growth

Delta contributes $300 million annually to Georgia state and local governments through taxes and fees.
The company paid its Georgia employees $500 million in profit sharing in 2017, resulting in $30 million in income tax withholdings.
Delta pays more than $200 million a year in operating expenses to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, supporting airport police, fire, security and other functions.
Direct flights out of Atlanta have supported nearly $11 billion in foreign investment in Georgia since 2011 and the creation of more than 42,000 jobs in Georgia.

Expansion of Atlanta hub has created one of the world’s leading gateways, and Delta continues to invest

In the past six years, Delta has increased international flight growth in Atlanta by 18 percent and overall growth in the market by 14 percent. During the peak schedule, Delta offers 2 million seats per week in Atlanta.
Delta has worked with Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport leadership to implement more than billions of dollars in projects that have reshaped the airport into a world-class facility, providing the bulk of the funding via direct contributions and airport fees.
Current Delta investments of $5 billion towards Hartsfield-Jackson improvements support the airport’s growth and development.

Delta is a strong supporter of Georgia communities

Delta contributed $12 million to Georgia arts organizations, charities and academic institutions in 2017.
Delta employees are significant contributors of money and manpower to numerous community and nonprofit organizations.

Daily tele today:

Rita Panahi: Why celebrities who aren’t Lefties better keep quiet

Celebs spouting far Left nonsense can be as radical, inaccurate and divisive as they like without copping a barrage of bad press or being black-listed.

If you’re a celebrity, then you better be a Leftie or be quiet. Any high-profile individuals, whether they be actors, sports stars, models, musicians or TV presenters, who stray from Leftist orthodoxy now risk being attacked, ostracised and ultimately cancelled.

A new McCarthyism is here and challenging the groupthink can be career suicide.

Celebs spouting far Left nonsense can be as radical, inaccurate and divisive as they like without copping a barrage of bad press or being black-listed. Just check out Pat Cash, Shane Jacobson or Jimmy Barnes’ views on Australia Day.

But if a high-profile artist utters a single centre-right opinion, no matter how mainstream and reasonable, they are mercilessly attacked by the media and have all sorts of campaigns launched against them by the activist class. It takes enormous courage to take a stand against the hate-filled mob.

It’s not just conservatives who are reluctant to voice their views but centrists and non-political individuals who have an opinion that offends the perpetually offended Left.

#####

Seems to be.
Time the Right got its own media, its own campaign-launching 'activist class', and hate-filled mob...and fought back, very hard.
Trouble at present is that the people in the Right are far too nice, far too well-mannered, and far too fair.
Time they got nasty. [legally of course].
"He's about as strong as a used tea bag" Cory should start a training school for Right politicians.

Not much talent or passion left to entertain and mislead the useless fuckers who bother with the daily telegraph. They’re scraping through the bottom and still can’t find a point.

Creepy white people with defective brains are a real problem. They almost always identify as republicans. They’ve brought that once important party into a parasitic shadow of its worst self.
