And no worries, we have plenty of room for new immigrants. We could fit the whole population of the world in Texas alone, Texas is huge. I recommend Nevada, especially Battle Mountain, and then Elko for our immigrants who want to go to college. The area has a lot of Basques, and the people from Venezuela will love Nevada.

We need to make all of our immigrants legal, and we need to fix our broken immigration law, including with a"Good Neighbor" policy.

There was a woman on Facebook who is a business woman and she is going to open a new hostel in Orange County, it is going to be 3 stories, with beds, showers, laundry, a communal kitchen, a gym, etc. We need for more business people to think like she does. We can help to solve the homeless problem with capitalism. For $15 per night you can take a nice hot shower, and you can sleep in a nice comfortable bed, etc.

Paul Van Doren, cofounder of Vans and an Anaheim business icon, has died at the age of 90.

Paul and brother James Van Doren started the Van Doren Rubber Co. in 1966 from a small storefront and factory near Broadway and Anaheim Boulevard in downtown Anaheim.

Their shoes made of vulcanised rubber soles soon became a favorite of skateboarders during the sport's rise to popularity in the 1960s and '70s.

Today, Vans is an iconic brand beloved by skaters and others alike.

While the company is now based in Costa Mesa, it all started in Anaheim.

Our thoughts go out to the Van Doren family.

We join so many in paying homage to Van Doren, who ranks alongside Walt Disney and Carl Karcher as one of Anaheim's business pioneers.
