Trump has not demonstrated the ability to take personal responsibility for anything in his life except his fictitious successes. This is why he is such a clear candidate for living out his days under a conservatorship. I would hope out of personal sacrifice to national duty Hillary Clinton would be willing to take the job. Trump is clearly way more fucked up than Brittany Spears ever was.

I missed this from yesterday:

Quote
On Sunday, Trump may have dropped a hint that the FBI seized information related to the latter two. He complained on his site, Truth Social, that the FBI "took boxes of 'attorney-client' material, and also 'executive' privilege material which they knowingly should not have taken."

I see no reason to believe this characterization of events/materials any more than the rest of what comes out of Trump's mouth, but it does potentially put more teeth in the "obstruction of justice" charge from the warrant.

I find the constant drumbeat of the push for violence terrifying.

Organize around saving democracy and supporting your community within your community. Tie that work to voting and encourage those in your community to vote for people who value and defend democracy and your community the way you do.

This is the best thing you can do now. If it is widely picked up it is more than enough to ensure that even if right wing terrorist violence breaks out, the terrorists and the republican party that supports them loses quickly and decisively regardless.

Look to California where we keep our republicans by and large in a bathtub.

It will be presented in due course as part of the trial. Swift, without fear or favor.

Fitting that Rudy is pulling the full Vincent Gigante as his defense.

Dinkins will always be The Mayor. Rudy just fooled the fazools.

Not sure where I see the violence portion of this show

But maybe you have some proof for this:

The problem for Republican leaders is that the bill that further funds the IRS generally benefits the working and middle class voters. The soon to be law not only doesnt raise taxes on ordinary people, but it also saves money on health care costs and features a bunch of tax credits to reduce energy costs for regular consumers.

I'll wait.

But not as long as you will wait for the affidavit.

And your wait is over. It is time for your stupid and baseless denial to begin.

How do you expect the agency to respond?

heh

Its a he said, he said:

First

While advocates applaud the enhanced IRS budget, opponents argue the beefed-up enforcement may affect more than wealthy Americans, violating Bidens 400,000 dollar pledge

My colleagues claim this massive funding boost will allow the IRS to go after millionaires, billionaires and so called rich  tax cheats, but the reality is a significant portion raised from their IRS funding bloat would come from taxpayers with income below  400,000, Sen. Mike Crapo, R Idaho, ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee said in a statement.

Then

IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig said the  80 billion in funding would not increase audits of households making less than  400,000 per year.

The resources in the reconciliation package will get us back to historical norms in areas of challenge for the agency  large corporate and global high net worth taxpayers, he wrote in a letter to the Senate.

These resources are absolutely not about increasing audit scrutiny on small businesses or middle income Americans, he added.

20 bil per year average raked in , for ten years  all raised from corporations and high earners?  Not so sure Sen Carpo doesnt have reason to be skeptical..

Affidavit?

Anyone?  Buehler?

Assume that the affidavit contains the person or persons who reported that the documents were still there.

There are two ways to release the affidavit:
(a) With the name(s) visible;
(b) With the name(s) redacted.

If (a), given the push to violence, how long do you think that person or those persons would be safe? And why should they have to hide to satisfy Trump's incoherent mob?

If (b), you know as well as I do that there would be an outcry against the "secrecy" - the redaction would be presented by those same far-right wing voices as "proof" that the FBI and/or DoJ are corrupt.

No affidavit until either a charge is made or the case(s) dropped.

I'm in Massachusetts. The overall paucity of republicans is not more comforting.

I am not personally terrified. I am nationally terrified.

I already work for my community in that regard.

It is the argument you expect from insurrectionist opponents of the United States who have already resorted to terrorism.

Do not try to separate your self from yourself or to tease apart your shitty motives.

It will not work.
