Red needs to flog his hobby horse extra hard after the numbers Jennifer Rubin cited a couple days ago, which derailed his Biden as Bumbler narrative (which I quoted, previous page):

Quote
The numbers are clear. Private investment and hiring have followed public investment. A recent report from the National Economic Council pointed out, quote Since the President took office, companies have announced over 500 billion in investments in the United States, including over 200 billion in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing and nearly 225 billion in clean energy, electric vehicle, and battery investments unquote. The lag in manufacturing that politicians bemoaned for years has turned around. quote Inflation-adjusted spending on manufacturing construction overall has increased by nearly 100 percent since the end of 2021. After years of flat investment in manufacturing construction in the United States, trends are moving in a different direction unquote.

And RIP Sinead O'Connor, age 56.  (likely suicide, though COD hasn't been disclosed)

5 years ago she converted to Islam.

She was one of the first people to be 'cancelled', after she ripped up a photo of the Pope live on tv to protest child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.
She was banned, ostracised from just about everywhere, her records burned, then hated by many, including much of the media.
She reportedly struggled with her mental health, she said the media were relentless.

Sad, very sad, she was just trying to do good.

She was only six or seven thousand times the person you are, Bambi.

Fortunately for you, you might have a little time left to do some catching up.

Had to admire that magnificent voice and her stand against papal hypocrisy. Bambi is unique and worthy in his special way. All voices should be welcome to this forum without the umomma insults. We should rise above. Maybe the moderator can start a special section for insults, very therapeutic?

Excellent idea, you anencephalic coprophage!  JK.  As for umomma insults, I would vote to at least retain the UMAMI insults....

They are savory and make a rich broth!

Wbat you take as an insult is often just apt descriptions of the arguments you make, and an extrapolation from those arguments to you. Why do you insist on silencing people who point out your racism? Actually, I know the answer to that.

Anyone who is against open borders is a racist, blah, blah, blah. ---good for the economy, unions overpaid. Cheap drugs, a small amount of crime, homelessness and strained services can be worked out. Inflation because of taxes so what. Remember oppressive governments and crying babies---.

No, you idiot, you are. In part because you think people who are against open borders are for open borders despite all evidence. And because you equate economic migration of Latinx with drugs and crime.

I equate oppressive governments to attempts to curb drug and sex trafficking. Shipping everyone to the USA is another way.

That is just how Putin describes his life work. He needs a few good men to help him with the law and order over there. Maybe you would find things more in the style of your liking than this weak law based society with its porous borders.

Not sure anyone is flying into Moscow these days, but you could always swim.

Oh no being called a Putin! Did I order an invasion of a peaceful neighboring country, did I bomb hospitals and schools, do I want to be dictator for life of eastern Europe? No I just made my opinion of mass immigration to the US be known. So how am I Putin? Feeble minds running out of "bad" names?

News Item

The Supreme Court gave a thumbs up to final construction go ahead of the 303
mile Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP).

Environmental groups Wilderness Society and Appalachian Voices, had sued to stop the pipeline construction and won a stay at the 4th circuit even  though the  ruling was opposed by the Biden administration, bipartisan lawmakers and the fossil fuel industry.

According to Equitrans Midstream, the pipeline developer, MVP will transport about 2 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas from West Virginia to consumers in the Mid-Atlantic and South Atlantic. The pipeline is projected to generate $40 million in new tax revenue for West Virginia, $10 million in new tax revenue for Virginia and up to $250 million in royalties for West Virginia landowners.
