Second that.  Both parts.

Try to find land over 15 feet in elevation, I hear that's how high some surges could reach.  So...probably Georgia.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/08/29/trump-ballot-disqualification-constitution/

Also explores question of would a hyperpartisan SCOTUS decide (hypocritically, if they are Originalists) to reject a clearly stated section of the 14th Amendment.  Some Secy of States are already weighing their options on disallowing Trump on the ballot.

Clearly stated section of the 14th Amendment?

Well let us read it.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President,   [Emphasis added.]
or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.

But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
[/b]

Got that?
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not mention the President or Vice President.
Just the electors and myriads of others sworn to uphold the Constitution
Section3 does carve out a way to get around the omission of the executive branch leaders
IMPEACHMENT
Well, already done and Trump was acquitted.
In all of the current pending indictments from January 6 none charge him with leading or inciting an insurrection.

Those proposing using section 3 to bar Trump for future  office are propagating the most absurd Constitutional Theory in our history.
Jesus. I think the litigation is ill considered as well, but at least I can read and understand plain English.

And if you think "Those proposing using section 3 to bar Trump for future  office are propagating the most absurd Constitutional Theory in our history" you have been paying no attention to anything that has been coming out of Trumpworld for the last 33 months.

Yep just like the 60"s kill a commie for mommy. Everybody against is un-American. Now anyone against mass migration is a bigot and un-American. True American patriots are rioting in the streets.

Xenophobic racist policies you espouse make people smuggling profitable.

Are you going to stick with policy proposals to help Isis or are you going to get on the side of a bright future and the American dream?

We need to make our immigrants legal, and we need to have a Good Neighbor Policy. We need to bring our people out of the shadows like Reagan did, and we need to make them legal so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so they can join labor unions, etc.

And we need younger leaders.

Meanwhile, I saw a lady on the news talking about what a nuisance the homeless people are, what happened to treating other people the way you want to be treated? And loving your neighbors? We need for people to step forward to help the homeless, and we need to let people open and run hostels tax-free to inspire people to open hostels, if you can get a shower and a bed for $15 then there is no reason to be homeless. And of course the Sober Living Homes for $500 per month are good too.

Of note too, I keep hearing the people who hate Hollywood talking about what a bad place Hollywood is, and Hollywood is great, everyplace has good and bad, and there are a lot of good people in Hollywood if you look at the good, and it is hard because we have people coming here from all over the world to seek employment but at the same time we have a lot of tourists to sell stuff to. etc. And Hollywood will be better after the strikes are over and after the workers get better pay and better treatment.

Salute,

Tony V.
