Found his phone, wife screamed, husband grabbed a knife, scuffle ensued, husband was stabbed to death. Wife then murdered.
Killer escaped.

If only the husband and wife were each wearing multiple guns, shoulder holsters and hip holsters.
They could've shot the stalker/killer and saved themselves.
