The feeding and sheltering of the world poor and needy should not have to be bourne by US taxpayers. You have not noticed inflation? 20$ for breakfast?
Many people want to help other people, but they do not know how, so here are a couple of ideas...
There is Kiwanis International which is global and the dues are cheap and we did a lot of good things for Anaheim. If one wants to do charity work to help others but does not know where to volunteer then we can remind them about Kiwanis International.
For the Youth there is Youth For Christ, and also the YMCA, and other Christian groups. And there is the Catholic Church, etc.
We can also use our stadiums to have concerts to raise money to do charity work, in Anaheim we have Angel Stadium where we can have the Chili Peppers play to raise money to help orphans, etc. Americans are very charitable. And the rich wives give the money to charity, etc. And women like Dolly Parton do a lot for charity, etc, and guys like Willie and Sammy, and Neil, etc.
Shakira builds schools in Colombia, and Colombia can expand trade with New Orleans, Louisiana, and New Orleans has Ports and they roast and grind the Colombian coffee beans there, etc, and the refugees from Colombia are welcome in New Orleans.
And we have the United Farm Workers to help the farm workers, and we have the Teamsters, etc.
There are many ways to help people. And also we need to support our Wellness Centers, and Mental Health Associations, etc, many of which have Thrift Stores to help to generate funds.
And my friend Tom organized the people from N/A to sell hot dogs and beer at Angel Stadium and they raised over $1 Million for Canning Hunger to help to feed the hungry people. There are simple ways to make money to help the poor.
Those are a few ideas on ways to help the poor.
