Remarkable how that classic ethnic smear holds up.  Each generation of bigots finding a "those people eat pets" anecdote to administer a kick to whichever group is currently seen as an invading threat.

In Springfield, Ohio the influx of Haitians is an invading threat to the resources of the Community.

The mayor there seems to disagree.  In fact, the Haitians are credited with bringing an economic revival of a dying town.   Woops.

The Repo governor also disagrees. But immigrants  - in this case, legal immigrants - are a convenient target to blame for social problems not of their making.
