The lead ESPN announcer demonstrated his ignorance tonight.

After watching the 7 runs that Chris Sale gave up, he observed, "Nobody is going to panic about 3 innings in the opener."

He clearly does not know Boston fans!

We can hope that Sale's season goes the way Grady Little's first game pitcher did in 2002 when he got hammered.

I wouldn't bet on it, but I don't know that I would have bet on it then, either.
