I worry about Pedroia.

Shane Bieber's is obvious but, given his baseball card, may need repeating.

Quick scan, the most boring nickname is the D-Back's Robbie Ray's.

Last time I watched much Sox baseball, it was "Yaz."  Then, interest briefly rekindled, in the oughts, when there was "Big Papi."

"Pedey" is better than "Pedo."

Pedey is now toast. He underwent more knee surgery, it was called "joint preservation procedure".

He'll never play pro ball again.

I hope he gets to run and play with his kids.

He's still able to go 4 for 5 against the Yankees.

Hey, looks like we split with the mighty KC Royals! 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 temporary tie.

Go us!

Rot Gut would have been better.  Dennis and his youthful compadres drank bad moonshine, down in Meridian, not "oil" (beer).   As far as the pitching went, it was coke that warmed things up in the bullpen.   But, like a justice of the SCt, I like beer.

MLB and Field of Dreams

Ys @ WSox in Iowa 2020

Perhaps as part of the massive marketing campaign for the event, MLB and the Hall of Fame can make a simultaneous announcement just before the game, that Shoeless Joe will be inducted into the HoF.
