Go, Ben!

Assuming the facts are as stated, then yes, go Ben, indeed!

She has no claim on potential future earnings, not even with a contract in place, as the contract allows him to stop.

But if she wins a smidgen of what she is demanding, then her singing God Bless America would be totally appropriate.

I really don't know why a team wouldn't make getting the vaccination mandatory.

Your "personal choice" effects everyone on the team.

I'm pretty sure that mandated vaccines would be an issue for collective bargaining.

Okay, I'm not sure why it is not a requirement in the NFL, then.

But... while it would be a matter for collective bargaining for MLB, I think they're nuts.

And if MLB went the way of one other league, with forfeits from lack of players due to COVID-19, that might fix the problem

I think the NFL and its union did reach an agreement.

Maybe so. Like the whole drug-testing debacle.

I do think that forfeits when you can't field a team due to Covid-19 should be in order, then, unless you can show that your team has been at least 85% vaccinated, in which case a game should be rescheduled.

Gardner should have had that, but he pulled up.

Five afternoon games on a Wednesday!

That strikes me as unusual, but perhaps I have not been paying as close attention as I think?

As I watch the O's at TB, I am reminded of the TB manager's writing career:

And an exciting come from behind walk off win for the Rays.

Curse it.

Two errors on one play by Miller. Archy Bradley deserved better.

The #Phillies have walked 11 times tonight. Most in a nine-inning game since Aug. 11, 2019. But they are 1-for-12 with RISP and have left 11 runners on base, so there's that.

Todd Zolecki.

That's the game story. But it will read in NYC as a great win for the Yanks.

Baseball.
