winnable game that got away.

damn

I think that is called a blown game.

Ask Mitch Wiliams or Joe Table or Armando Benitez. They can affirm.

From the NYPost:

The Astros are not expected to retain Correa, whose suitors could include the Tigers, Phillies and Rangers as the Yankees monitor the rich shortstop free-agent crop that also includes the Mets

Can't figure the Mets' interest in Correa.

May be why Correa was screaming "MY TIME!", when he hit the game-winner. He knows that pay-day is coming. It'll be interesting how this bumper crop of SS free agents gets paid going forward, especially because I believe there is a new CBA to be negotiated and finalized?

Anyone wish to rank them?

Seager has to be atop the Yankees list. I give him a slight edge over Correa then Story.

I think Correa is more ready to play in Da Bronx than Story or Seager, but I think Seager is the best available SS.

Loved this afternoon's RS game.

Enjoying the late show (Dodgers-Braves), too.

This must be another example of what Smoltz was talking about wrt that NL pitching style and its radical difference from the AL.
