This is what make me angry about Russia...

The poor people of the Eastern Ukraine did not even have clean water to drink, UNICEF had to go in and help to install a water tower so that they would have clean water.

https://www.unicef.org/ukraine/stories/unicef-helps-bring-clean-water-back-eastern-ukraine

The Ukraine was all ready to join the European Union, everything would have been great, and then some clown decides to back out, the people protest, and then Russia comes in and tries to get the Ukraine to go back with Russia, and then  Russia annexed Crimea, and everything has been bad in the Ukraine since.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_crisis

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annexation_of_Crimea_by_the_Russian_Federation

Russia needs to back out of the Ukraine, and the Ukraine needs to join the European Union just like they planned, it can all be cool.

And in times like this France needs to be strong, as a leading power in the area. And of course, the rest of the European Union must support the welcoming of the Ukraine to the E.U., and NATO needs to be strong.

Thanks to UNICEF and their partners, the people of the Ukraine will have clean water to drink, and Russia needs to just leave the Ukraine alone.

And now you know why the people from the Ukraine love the USA so much. They have been through hell.

Salute,

Tony V.

I had a friend from the Ukraine, Ted, he married Cheech Marin's aunt, and he went to work helping the homeless people here in the USA, he spent his last days managing homeless shelters, he was a good person. He helped the poorest of the poor here in the USA, and he handled the mentally ill people very well, and the addicts, he was good with people. Managing a homeless shelter is hard, and you have to deal with some dangerous people, and he did a great job with a smile on his face, he had a great sense of humor. So, when I think of the Ukraine, I remember my friend, and I remember what a good person he was.

Salute,

Only in the Bay Area is a graduate degree in chemistry needed to commit suicide.

Good grief, has this woman never heard of the Golden Gate bridge?

proscar dislodge adequate: crusty

you should submit that to a poetry journal.
If you ignore the hyperlinks, it is kind of eecummingsesque.

Yes.   Should be read at the eecummingsesquecentennial.  In 2044.

One year I spent Christmas Day with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, my brother married their Granddaughter, and Roy told me that I had to go through the hard times, so that I would really appreciate the good times. And of course along with being grateful for whatever blessings that I have, I also need to remember to help other people.

There were times when I lived in a Malibu beach house, and there were times when I was homeless.

Here is the house where I lived in Malibu... It is a nice house, and I loved living there. And the best part was I lived with a loving family, and they treated me like part of the family. I rented a room from the ex-wife of Sammy Hagar's family doctor, and I lived with her and her two daughters, and a lady who was the daughter of a general in China, and there was another guy there from China who makes artificial knees, and that kind of stuff. And we had a maid from El Salvador, and she was part of our family too. We also had a huge dance room, and all of the ladies in their neighborhood came to our house to do Yoga with the lady who owned the house.

http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/6315-Gayton-Pl_Malibu_CA_90265_M15737-07387

And I would love to have love, I need to meet a good woman who will be my teammate. Be a boss, date a boss, and build an empire.

Also of note, when I was homeless, Suzanne Pleshette hired me, so I at least could afford to buy food.

Later I met a woman from the Philippines who has been helping the homeless people in California for 40 years, and she is a wealthy business woman, and she was friends with Suzanne Pleshette. We were also friends with a lady who was a cousin of Gloria Arroyo, who was the President of the Philippines. My friend owned a night club in Los Angeles named "Manila Gardens." And she owned other businesses as well, and she invested in real estate. Right now she has 100 homeless people living in her houses, and she cooks for them, and she takes care of them. But, she is getting old, people are getting old, and people are dying. The young people need to step in and they need to start helping the homeless like some of my friends have done and are doing.

And everyday that I have my own apartment then I am grateful. If I have food and shelter then I am grateful.

I pray that I might have a good future, and meet a good woman who is smart, to be my teammate.

Salute,

Tony V.

You’re a good guy, Tony V.

I wish you all the best!

There must be a rich divorcee running around Hollywood/LA somewhere looking for love too.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/01/politics/donald-trump-category-5-hurricane-dorian/index.html

Quote
"We don't even know what's coming at us. All we know is it's possibly the biggest. I have -- I'm not sure that I've ever even heard of a Category 5. I knew it existed. And I've seen some Category 4's -- you don't even see them that much," Trump said at a briefing with officials at FEMA's headquarters in Washington, DC.

"But a Category 5 is something that -- I don't know that I've ever even heard the term other than I know it's there. That's the ultimate, and that's what we have unfortunately," he added, in reference to Hurricane Dorian.

Irma? Maria? Michael? Nope, he doesn't remember having heard that those were Category 5.

A thought on postings of the "POTUS is a moron" theme:

90% of members know that Trump is a moron.   The other 10% do not care, or actively filter out all the data that would point to that obvious conclusion.

I am reminded, watching this POTUS, of the old adage:

"Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Anything he says is bullshit so I’m reminded of the old adage:

“Fuck what he says, look at what that motherfucker is doing!”

The GOP is dismantling the nation piece by piece and locking in the courts to codify white rule for decades.

A top official at the US Department of the Interior has warned that the department may rethink putting government employees in the states of lawmakers who oppose the relocation of the Bureau of Land Management.

Joseph Balash, assistant secretary for Land and Minerals Management, sent letters Wednesday to New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall and Rep. Betty McCollum, both Democrats, pushing back on criticism of the move.

"Given your apparent strong feelings about the Department's actions and intentions, we pledge to review and reconsider the relocation of additional Departmental resources to your State," Balash wrote in his letter to Udall, obtained by CNN.
Balash added, "We are also open to working with other delegations that object to additional Departmental resources being allocated to their States."

There must be a rich divorcee running around Hollywood/LA somewhere looking for love too.

I want to meet Mahlagha Jaberi, she is 30 years old, she is from Iran but now she lives in San Diego, California, and she is a model, and I think that she would be good as an actress too. She looks like a Disney princess, she is beautiful.

https://www.instagram.com/MAHLAGHAJABERI/

As a producer I could hire her to work on my films. Or, as an actor maybe we can work together, for instance, maybe we could both act in an upcoming "Star Wars" movie, or something like that. And I suggested her to a buddy for an upcoming music video.

We can waltz around the world having fun, and we can help orphans, and we can do lots of good things.

We could get married, have kids, and build an empire.

We could be the kind of power couple who dines with the Pope.

And we could buy the house where I used to live in Malibu, And we can have homes in Italy, and around the world.

If you are going to dream, dream big.

My friend Jon, who was in the bands Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Suicidal Tendencies, and other bands, loves my movie script that I wrote, and he told me to get my movie made and he said that then I will be able to get any woman I want. He said that success is awesome, and he said that once you succeed then you can get any woman you want.

My Mother told me to find the right woman right now, and she said that the right woman will help me to get my movie made, and she said that the right woman will love me even when I am poor, and that the right woman will help me to succeed.

I have been doing like Jon said, trying to become successful and trusting that love will come with success, but at the same time, I love my Mother's advice and it is nice to think that the right woman will love me even if I am poor, and she can help me to succeed, we can succeed together.

We will see what happens.

Salute,

Tony V.

In the old days the rich and the famous all did charity work, and they helped the poor and the homeless and the orphans, etc.

To those who are given much, then much is expected from.

And of course many good people still throw parties for charity, such as the Rose Ball in Monaco, and the rich and famous still do a lot to help the poor and the needy.

Roy Rogers and Dale Evans had the Happy Trails Children's Foundation, and the Dale Rogers Training Center, and they did a lot of other stuff too.

Part of the fun of getting rich is getting to give money away.
