Trump’s legal defense essentially was to show that the two articles charged refer to crimes that are ongoing and accumulating public participants and acts in furtherance of abuse and contempt.

This is probably contributing to why the fox audience is increasingly deciding that the crooked imposter needs to be removed now he is impeached.

“Trump's lawyers didn't:
- deny he asked a foreign government to sabotage his political rival
- deny he withheld military aid they desperately needed and a White House meeting
- or even promise he'll stop soliciting foreign election interference, as he did with China and Russia

Trump's lawyers did:
- argue that he should be allowed to coerce foreign election interference
- bizarrely claim Trump couldn't even be impeached if he gave Alaska to Russia
- get Senators to threaten to commit the election interference that he failed to get Ukraine to commit”

Too many American citizens are fighting for homes, jobs, and social programs. Mainly veterans and the elderly.

The elderly are fighting for jobs?  Tell me more.  I assume all these old folks are out there, doing battle with immigrants for positions on roofing crews, construction crews, meatpacking plants, backbreaking agrarian fieldwork, and so on.  We need citations here, so that we can share your concern and fire up our Outrage Machines!  Let grandpa nail down those shingles and pick those strawberries, godammit!
Remember the good old days when the right used to argue they were not racist or.xenophobic? "We are only against ILLEGAL immigrants! We support legal immigration!"

It was bull shit then. I am glad they have dropped the pretext.

No BS.
Good policy.

Which countries are the "poor and huddled masses" from overpopulated etc countries rushing to move to?
Answer; "White majority" countries.
Why?  no degree from Harvard needed for this one either.

The argument from the good old days was always too complicated for Bambu.

Elderly are fighting ... sometimes low paying part-time jobs.

What country are you talking about?

We have tons of low paying part-time jobs with employers begging to get them filled (but not so much that they are significantly raising wages).

The attacks on Biden are about the election.

Even the GOP is admitting it, now.

Yep,  it was bullshit when Sen. George Murphy (immortalized in a Tom Lehrer song)  was slurring Braceros back in the early sixties.  Let them in for picking season,  then make sure you send them back!

Xenophobic to me is hijacking an airliner and suicide flying it into a landmark building. The US already is the most diverse nation in the history of the world and very modern. You want primitive and xenophobic go to central America or the middle East. So much self-loathing!

It's called …"work visas".
And … "legal and orderly immigration system."

No 1 radio host is great.
Today he told us that;

" Eucalypts are incinerators from hell dressed up as trees".

Which is 100% correct.

They're in CA.
