Your reading comprehension is poor.   Like many in the working class,  the provisional ballot system is a genuine hurdle,  when you have long work hours and then are required  to visit two government offices.   Read the whole article and try to understand why the system dampens voting in certain groups.   Narrowing the range of acceptable ID,  inevitably reduces voting from those least able to take a day off to wait in lines.   Republicans have openly admitted (Wisconsin leaps to mind) that such tactics work in their favor.   Democracy is supposed to make voting easy,  and you know that.

When your party’s electoral strategy depends on fewer people voting it means you know your policies suck for most people.

For you. But then I have noticed you have either no conception of, or perhaps care nothing for, the lives of others not like you.

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/10/voter-suppression-wisconsin-election-2016/

Cleareyed look at how voter suppression works.

The poll worker gave her a provisional ballot instead. It would be counted only if she went to the Department of Motor Vehicles to get a new ID and then to the city clerk’s office to confirm her vote, all within 72 hours of Election Day. But Anthony couldn’t take time off from her job as an administrative assistant at a housing management company, and she had five kids and two grandkids to look after. For the first time in her life, her vote wasn’t counted.

This is NOT bias

It is an unfortunate instance of misplacing a document.  Followed by a conscious decision to not take care of the issue in due time.

Good Lord.

The problem that started this rolling is bias.

The set up that multiple steps are needed is done to make it harder for folks to vote in a selective way.

And the fact that places to get your driver's license were also shut for the same communities as polling places were shut is also bias.

But keep looking for loopholes to excuse yourself.

As a Catholic,  I find the evident lack of faith apalling.

There is a deep irony there that would make my brain hurt if I were Catholic.  Maybe I shouldn't have sent that link on to my wife, who is Catholic.  She's in another city right now, preparing to receive major dental treatment.

That is a total distortion of the argument. In the instance of the person involved each condition mentioned had a solution. That  they could not get around them around election time is hardly a criticism of the process nor a valid argument of bias. In almost every jurisdiction the voting process has been liberalized to make it easier to vote. And registration is a process that runs for 52 weeks.
Boards of elections have bent over backwards to accommodate people from all walks of life.

Someone tell Red we got the hard drives. The architect croaked and his daughter released the files.

As for the totally great response from the totally in control administration, there’s this.

http://m.dailykos.com/stories/1923891

Mother wasn’t around, so Mike Pence went and exposed himself.

Pence might be trying to give it to trump who’s in the right demographic and physical shape with many overlapping conditions (no, not his blubber rolls. Why so graphic?) to once again be in the 1%.

That, or their autocraphiliac chore wheel they have set up in the West Wing told them it was now time to imitate Iran.

Yes, yes it has.

It's in several thousand places of heavy Black and Latino populations that it has not been liberalized.

Shutting polling places with increased population, while not in places with reduced populations is not liberalized.

Shutting polling places

Requiring IDs and then making it harder to get those IDs is not liberalized.

Forbidding buses for the elderly to vote is not liberalized.

Trying to block college students from voting is not liberalized.

And no, Boards of Elections have bent over backwards to accommodate some people from some walks of life.

You ignore data as if it were invisible to you.

Hey, the DJIA rose almost 1,300 points yesterday, the biggest gain in more than a decade!

I was surprised not to see Ward crowing about it today.

And today it's only back down about 700 (at the moment, vs. 900+ earlier), so a net gain of 600ish. If we saw that every two days, we'd be back in record territory in no time!

Of course, the downstroke coming with the half-point reduction in interest rates might trouble some folks... but I am sure Ward and Kid are not even slightly troubled by it.

Voter Turn out is consistently rising among all 10,000 voting jurisdictions in this country.

That’s why it doesn’t happen. No Board Election Board is making voting harder.

Requiring IDs and then making it harder to get those IDs is not liberalized.
Boards of Elections do not make rules on voter ids. Legislatures do.
Boards of elections do not make decisions on how to obtain those ids.

Forbidding buses for the elderly to vote is not liberalized.
Transportation for voters to get to the polls has increased not decreased.

Trying to block college students from voting is not liberalized.
college students are subject to residency rules, no one is trying to keep them from voting legally.

All walks of life.
