The impression we all get, Governor Cuomo, is that you want your 140,000 ventillators now - even though they are not needed - and even before some other states that may need them sooner get them.

That's the impression of the constant hammering of "I NEED 140 THOUSAND!!!"

You are taking care of your state.  Take care of the nation as well.  It'll be a good test drive for 2024.

"So the point is, 'well they're in a stockpile, you must not need them' is just ignorant -- of course you don't need them today!" Cuomo continued. "You need them when you hit the apex, which is 30,000. We're not there yet."

Yes. As I have been saying

If YOU had said so - just like this - initially - the media frenzy would nt have been what it was.

Not everyone in the US - matter of fact - a small percentage - can reason things out.
Well you are certainly proof of that.

And had he done that a month ago, a ton more of them would have been ready when they were needed.

https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2020/03/27/white-house-coronavirus-reaction-change-tapper-sot-lead-vpx.cnn

Four weeks ago, Mick Mulvaney was insisting that the Democratic leaders were making a big deal of the coronavirus in order to bring down President Trump.

Today, the President signed the stimulus package and invoked the Defense Production Act to get more ventilators produced.

I hope nobody is holding their breaths waiting for Mulvaney, et al, to apology.

If you aren’t a blockhead Ward doesn’t find you substantial.

Speaking of substantial blockheads, this is really worth a watch

Hillary Clinton on Twitter  regarding President Trump when US coronavirus cases topped 100,000

He did promise "America First."
Twitter responses were, to put it mildly, not kind to her.
Please keep talking because you’re the greatest political gift any Republican could ever hope for.

From Katrina to Maria and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, republicans routinely act a 10x fatality multiplier.

Red’s got his dander up because the Woman Americans chose as president points out some shitty qualities of the egregious imposter as those shitty qualities are costing American lives.

Hillary didn’t lose the playbook. Unlike trump, Hillary can read.

100K.  Wow.

20K in NYC.
Shanghai didn't even hit 500.

Took 2 months for China to (nearly) clear the country of the virus.

I like Hillary's tart wit.

And one thing is she doesn't tolerate incompetence.

You know companies HAVE been working on the ventillator shortage, right?  Even without use of the DPA?

Just checking.
