Posters saying "It's okay to be white" have appeared outside the offices of two federal MPs who were among the most strident in criticising Government senators for voting for a motion declaring the same.

Both South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young and West Australian Labor MP Anne Aly, whose offices were targeted, have taken to social media to complain about the posters.

Twitter user "Vladesch" said it was "such a silly fuss over a sentence which is clearly true".
"That is unless you think its (sic) not ok to be white," they said.

"Then you must ask yourself if it's ok to be black. And if its (sic) not ok to be black then you're clearly a racist.
"But if its (sic) ok to be black and not white you're also a racist."

Yes, the Australian parliament basically voted that it's not 'ok to be White'.
They originally voted that it was ok, then amid howls of protest from the usual suspects, voted that it's not ok.

Trump is just making a point, and getting ready for when they do hit the border.
Not too sure what the troops will be doing to stop them from entering though...fences and tear gas didn't stop them forcing their way into Mexico.
Most of them have refused to accept asylum in Mexico, reportedly.

If Trump lets them in he's finished politically.
He needs to secure America's borders to have any hope of re-election.

I went to the early polling location at the Bennington-Stoddard Rec Center with my spouse. We walked in and were asked our names. Then they asked for our address. Fran had her voter registration card in hand and glowered at me because I don’t know when I last saw mine.

I gave them my address and they turned the tablet pad for me to sign.

Monday, I’m having surgery on my right elbow to correct cubital tunnel syndrome. Right now I write on my iPad with my right middle finger... can’t use a pen or fork with the right hand.

So I signed left handed. I voted. I never showed ID.

I have NEVER shown an ID and the first vote I cast was for Jimmy Carter.

Acceptance of voter suppression laws by the majority of white people and a significant number of minorities infuriates me.
