Trouble in Transition Town

Rep. Veronica Escobar of Texas told CNN that in the meeting she brought up the fact that there had yet to be a single Latina named to the Cabinet, and said the information about Lujan Grisham turning down the post at Interior going public seemed like an attempt to discredit a very qualified woman.
"As someone who read the articles ... the way it read was someone was trying to send a message that she had her shot and she walked away," the member said. "I don't even know that is true. It is distressing. She is the consummate professional. She is someone we are so proud of. She is someone who is imminently qualified

If the election process is so rigged.... why would Trump run again in 2024?

What changes do you think will happen... not using dominion machines?  voter ID laws?

What do you think Trump wants to change vs. what do you think actually will change by then?

Let's hear some thoughts.

Sidney Powell's been threatening to release the "Kraken" file of evidence, but it turns out not to be... more than this:

Time to move on to uncle Joe.

---Former Missouri Democratic secretary of state Jason Kander could be in the running for a Cabinet position under Joe Biden if the latter is elected president,---

---The role would appear to fit Kander’s background. He’s an Army veteran who previously served as a military intelligence officer in Afghanistan. Last year, he also took over as leader of the national expansion of a local nonprofit — Veterans Community Project — which is focused on ending veterans’ homelessness.---

A major issue before, during , and after the pandemic. And not only for veterans.

Journal Op-Ed?  Or from the Journal itself?
Itself.

Nor should it be a surprise that she overstated her legal qualifications.

At least SEZ the Times

And the WaPo and the WSJ.

WSJ Editorial today: Mr. Trump is already sounding like he wants to run again in 2024, and his stolen-election claims sound like an opening bid for campaign donations. At least for now he can say, with justification, that he helped the GOP gain seats in the House and avoid a rout in the Senate. But that narrative changes for the worse if the GOP loses in Georgia after Mr. Trump divided his own party to serve his personal political interest. He needs a GOP Senate nearly as much as Mr. McConnell does

Take a seat, kid. You're outta your league, here.

What won't happen again, a petulant man child who cannot admit to losing will deliberately lie to undermine confidence in our safe and secure election system to assuage his fragile ego? Best way to keep that from happening again would be to ignore him.

That would be a start.  But I think states will still have the right to run their balloting as they see fit (machines and all) - thus will have to decide on their own whether to continue.  Its costly to change of course.

If?

Total failure by Trump in not assuring that this election wouldn't be run to the benefit of the other side (warnings were not enough).  Abrams kicked his ass.  Played the dirty game better than when she got robbed.  Got her revenge and then some.  I'd say avoiding a Senate rout will be seen as not good enough for DT.  But the next chapter to be written should be interesting.  Momentum is there for '22 and beyond.  Will grow as Dems light themselves on fire.

That your personality cult could convince you that enfranchising all voters is "a dirty game" is the saddest commentary on Trumpism I've ever seen.
