Today's quiz -

In how many regular season games did Eli Manning have a 100+ passer rating?

Just counted (may be off a little-tired eyes)

I had it at 62 or about 26.7% of his games,

Not as many as Brady (129-47.4%) , Brees (117-44.1%) Benny (89-40,6%), or Rivers (98-46.4%)

Eli is tied with Joe Flacco in 44th place with 84.1 career QB rating

Did you have a point?

Other than proving mine?

There are only 22 active quarterbacks with higher career passer ratings (not qbr) than Eli.

Give the guy a break.

Okay, there are only 4 active QBs with lower career passer ratings than Eli...

I get it.  Super Bowls aren't important.

Kam - wrong approach

Bank thinks 100+ passer ratings are mediocre and top 50 players can be average QBs. That is where he goes seriously awry.

I don't mind that he comes to the improper conclusion that Tyrees catch puts Eli in the Hall, where he would not otherwise be.  Its the Den-like extremism (see anything with 99% in it) that is his absolute undoing and why none of us needs to continue what BS considers a "debate"

I told you all on the Knicks forum that Bank would soil the space when he arrived.  And he did.  Not unlike here.

Stick around Lam.  Maybe make some weekly picks.  The forum needs some new air, surely.

I'm pretty sure that's NOT the take-away from my Eli points, but if it makes you sleep easier to mangle my pretty easy to understand point, feel free to mangle away..

Kid seems upset that his hot take talking point quiz about the # of Eli's 100+ QB rating games was fact checked and put into actual comparative context with several QBs from the same era and proved that on that stat, Eli was clearly an average QB.

He proved my point, so now he resorts to insults and ends up soiling himself on this forum.

kid the 99% was derived from the singular focus on Eli's 2 SB wins while ignoring 232 regular season games.

232/234 = 99.1%

I think Manning winning 5 post-season road games to get those Super Bowls (only one home game in those two seasons) should probably be looked at too.

Winning games on the road in the NFL playoffs can be extraordinarily difficult.

Good point.

I always thouht Eli's game against the 49ers, where he got absolutely pounded was a great win.

The OT win against Green Bay in the NFC Championship game of Manning's first Super Bowl season was one of my favorite Giants' wins ever.  I thought Coughlin was going to die.

Probably not.

I brought up the subject tangentially in the context of Eli being replaced by Jones.

seems I upset the the silent but suddenly vocal Opie loyalists who never post here.

I was expecting more chatter on the Browns this year.
