So...

Patriots lose 4 of the top 100 free agents - and add zero.

And likely to take a backup QB round 1.

Could be a rough year (pray for cancellation, Bank)

NFL actually compensates teams when they lose a FA.  Had they signed anyone they'd stand to have fewer comp picks.

https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/patriots-projected-receive-best-2020-compensatory-nfl-draft-pick-haul

That's fine

Still no second rounder

If they take the development QB in first round.....

I hope the NFL can get off the ground in '20, if they do its going to be a made for TV poduct.

Its 60/40 they will play, but my expectations are pretty low for the Pats.

Tough schedule and lots of questions re personnel.

They're clearly in rebuild mode.

Bills should be favored in the AFC East.

And the lost players to FA will probably turn into 2 comp 3rd rounders and a sixth next year (like this year)

If NFL plays this year, I'm more interested in TB12 in Tampa and whether he can get them into the post-season.

And if they do play it's going to have mind-boggling TV ratings.

I could make some of these Joe Burreaux throws they are showing

Cannot wait to see him against the Steelers and Ravens defense.

I'm fine with the pick. I guess there was no deal to be made to trade down enough spots where a stud OT would still be there.

Yeah - sucked that there were 2 QBs of just about equal worth - Hebert and Tua - and thus G-men couldnt pit MIA and LAC against each other.

Nobody was dealing up for a tackle

Were they dealing up for a Derek Brown?  Maybe - but would have been costly to go all the way to 4.

Perfect storm for Dolphins - if they pass on Tua - just a shit show.

This "sit him for a year" is bullshit with Tua.

Wildcat, baby.

Could Chargers deal down here?  Or is it too worrisome that OAK may then deal up for Herbert?
