Most American teens are frightened by climate change, poll finds, and about 1 in 4 are taking action
It’s like a dystopian novel: To grow up seeing the world fall apart around you, and knowing it’s going to be the fight of your lives to make people stop it.”

And who's frightened them?

Just watching "Law and Order SVU" on my tv.

Woman speaking at a rally about rape victims, telling the female audience holding candles:

"One in 4 students will be sexually assaulted before they graduate.
We must take back the night".

Ah yes, 'reclaim the night'...another dumb idea...unless the women are in a largish group ready to fight, or have armed men/women protecting them.

Jill Meagher tried that 'reclaim the night' shyte...walked home alone at night from a restaurant...she's dead, raped and murdered.

Eurydice Dixon tried that 'reclaim the night' shyte...walked home alone at night from her comedy gig...she's dead, raped and murdered.

There's a long list.

We have 12 yr old girls at 'climate change' schoolkids protest rallies, seemingly scared senseless by teachers etc.
It's 'criminal'...there oughta be a law!

The folks who have failed to deal with the climate crisis.

And the folks denying science left and right and up and down.

People like you frighten them.

I too once met a girl in Central Park, but it is not much to remember. What I remember is the time John Wayne killed three men with a carbine as he was falling to the dusty street in Stagecoach, and the time the kitten found Orson Welles in the doorway in The Third Man.

Scientific fact. And the idiocy of those who deny it.

Red got a tax cut.
Real Americans did.
The Census report shows that black unemployment, at 5.5% in August, is the lowest it’s been since records started being kept in 1972.

The gap between black unemployment and white unemployment is also the lowest on record.
Both Hispanic-Americans and Asian-Americans now have near-record low unemployment rates.
The Washington Post recently analyzed Labor Department data and found more  than 86% of the jobs added since the end of 2016 went to minorities. Out of 5.2 million new jobs, minorities accounted for 4.5 million.

The  Daily Signal notes: Among full-time, year-round workers, the number of women increased by 1.6 million and the number of men increased by about 700,000 between 2017 and 2018.”

The median real income for female-headed households with no spouse rose 5.8% from 2017 to 2018. For married couples, there was no change. The poverty rate for female-led households shrank from 26.2% in 2017 to 24.9% in 2018.

The Census Bureau further shows that the number of people living in poverty fell by 1.4 million people in 2018 alone, with the poverty rate dropping from 12.3% to 11.8%, its lowest since before the 2007 financial crisis. That decline was led by female-headed households, minority ones in particular .

Super pivot away from talking about taxes and on to the residual Obama Economy.

Everyone knows President Obama was a great economic steward for whom we will be forever thankful. It doesn’t change the fact that Deficit Don and Moscow Mitch’s one big accomplishment helped very few tax payers and created fewer jobs while exploding the debt.
