Thin bench?  The starters are thin.

Mon Dieu!

I have to believe the UNDER is in play for Warriors this year.  (or am I just totally overreacting after Clips played a near perfect game)

8 assists/1 turnover for Russell.  4-8 from deep, 4-4 from line - and a -35.  Wow.  Not sure what to make of that - except Doc has his offense in playoff gear early

Yeah, GS once loaded with stars and depth is a real ghost team around Scurry and Dray.  A big factor is when/if Klay returns.
But even so, he's only likely to play 25 games max.

They just have to hope to beat up on the weaker teams, avoid injury games missed, and squeeze into the playoffs.  Then hope Klay is functioning well for the playoffs.

Odd to see the two Finals teams from last year fall on hard times so quickly.  But that's what happens when a star leaves each team, and for GS a secondary star goes down.

Going to be a bumpy year for GS.  41 - 45 W's.  The West is tough.

I hate teams with weak benches, which makes the starters play long minutes and have to work hard to build and regain leads.

Probably in the 4 - 5 range.
But the East is weak and RAPs don't rate as a true contender.
Nets, Heat and Pacecars will be fighting TOR for that 4 / 5 seed.

There's also a chance they trade Lowry or Ma Gasol.
And accelerate the revamp.
Or they face those decisions next Summer.

I'm big on Siakim and OG.
And hoping StanJohn can become offensive.

Probably in the 4 - 5 range.

3-4

Clearly there are two top teams.

Then 3-4

Then 5-7.

8 is a scrum.

PHX has started 2-1.
Blew out SACto.
Lost by 1 in OT to DEN.
And just beat LAClips.

Nice start to the season.
I thought Rubio would help a lot, but he didn't play in the LAC game (boo-boo knee).
So far Uber 21 & 7; 51% FG and 39% on 3's.  Made all 19 of his FT's (over 6 per game); 2 steals per, but lamentably just 1 assist  ...

Man, GSW is starting Marquise Chriss?
And there's some talk Klay might not return at all.
They'll be lucky to tread water and hit 41 W's.
Definitely the under.
Ridiculously thin team.
With a healthy Klay all year they could possibly reach 48 W's ...

Nets are likely to have a lot of crazy finishes.
Some folks laughed at Barrett guarding Kyrie to end the game.
Well, MEMf did the same and their rook blocked Kyrie.
Learning experience however it goes.

Too bad we didn't get Morant as that's what we need most.
But Barrett looks like a smart steady player.
And I'm glad we didn't get Zion.
He's going to have trouble staying healthy and could be hard to build around.  Gonna have some fun highlights.  But I'll stick with a stat stuffer like RJB.

Hardaway has been awful the first 3 games.
29% FG; 2-17 on 3's.
Has gotten 21 or 22 mins each game.
3 rebounds and 4 assists for the season.

So Malcolm "Not a PG" Brogdon is leading the league in assists early.  Haven't seen INDy play, but The Frog is a player.

Rubio 4th in assist for the surprising Suns.
Giannis 5th (9.0 per).
