TyHaliburton is the guy behind Silver, between LaMelo and Nnaji.
To Nnaji's right is Aleksej Pokusevski.
To the right of Aleksej is Jalen Smith
To the right of smith is Josh Green

I'm still interested in bright blue suit front row left, and lime green suit back row slightly to the right...

I think that's Vernon Carey you're asking about in the back.

I believe that's Kira Lewis in the beige suit front right between leprechaun Nesmith and letterman jacket Edwards.  If so, Lewis looks a bit taller than i thought, but he's listed at 6'3" and says he bulked up to almost 180 (from 165 in college).

I'll call Saddiq Bey with the chain , one to the left of Wise Man and behind the leprechaun.

And probably Precious Achiuwa with the hat.

Okay, going right from Adam Silver:

LaMelo      Carey(?)      Precious Achoo     Saddiq      WiseMan        Avdija      Isiah Stewart?

Cole Anthony    Edwards         Kira Lewis     Nesmith   ?RedPlaid?    Vassell        ObiToppings

I also like WASh & PHX.  IND pretty good too.
I'd add the circular DET design.  The ball and rim are round, and it's handled well.  And NO is simple and classy, letter-free.

I'd vote:
1. Wash  2. NO  3. DET  4. PHX  5. IND  6. TOR

agree the Nets is a fail.
Also find it amusing that for a few of these "city" edition jerseys, the state name is on the front.  Oregon?

Looking again.
WASH & NO are the standouts for me.

While that H-Town looks like it was designed by a kid in 5 minutes.|
OKC real ugly.

Melo still adjusting to be a bench player.
The guy has too big an ego, and whenever he talks he sounds stupid the longer he goes on:
Quote
"It's me coming to the table and saying, 'Talk to me about what that role would be.' You don't want me to play with the first five doesn't mean I'm not a quote-unquote starter. We need to balance it," he said. "You can't bring CJ and Dame off the bench. I'll do it. I'll make it happen."
&
Quote
"But honestly I had to really sit down with myself and think about that. Because it's new," Anthony said. "I tried it in Houston, but it was only seven or eight games. This is new for me. If I sit here and say the thought of that wasn't hard or difficult to hear and take and let that play with your pride and your ego, yes it does. Especially coming from somebody like myself. But I had to take a deep breath and figure it out. We'll make it work."

Especially coming from somebody like myself
Geez, Melo should really stay away from reporters.

From Stop Snitching to all his interviews as a Knick, Melo always sounds like a self-centered doofus.  Maybe that confidence has helped him but it's a mentality that also hurt him (a lost season at age 34).  Melo had a nice season but was kind of erratic.  3rd best 3-Pt shooting season of his career, on less volume.  A nice feel-good comeback story.  Give Melo credit for staying in shape and keeping his mind ready.

But the just because I don't start doesn't make me a "starter" just sounds dumb.  It's not always the sentiment, but how he expresses it.
He could simply say, I'm fine coming off the bench, and I'm going to approach it with a starter's mentality.

Also, that interview is classic Melo wherein as he goes on, he contradicts himself.
So he starts off saying he's reconciled with coming off the bench, then winds up saying he's still considering himself a starter.  A very weird thought process/ speaking style.

Kyrie Irving will be doing a “media blackout” this season and not speak to the media throughout the year, via

Interesting analysis.
Melo always aware of his image and criticism.

I was thinking that as he talks he ponders and sees the other side of an issue, but just doesn't express it well.  Seeing both sides of an issue would seem a positive trait, but he doesn't have the verbal dexterity to get it across well.

Funny, I almost added in that last post that maybe Melo should take a page from Kyrie and avoid the media, before I knew Kyrie was going all in.  Kyrie a difficult customer.   Already can't follow rules and has to do things his way.  I might be the only one glad we aren't saddled with Kyrie and Durant.

Melo currently at 26,446 career Points.
15th NBA all-time just ahead of Pierce, Havlicek and KG.
18th all time if you count ABA scoring (which places Gervin, Issel and Dr. J ahead of Melo).

Just sticking with NBA scoring, with a reasonably productive healthy season (say 12 ppg in 60 games), Melo would pass Duncan, Dominique, Oscar and Olajuwon and slot into 11th.  Just behind Elvin Hayes and Moses Malone (who also dropped an additional 2,150 ABA points).  Another year of even minimal scoring after that would put Melo at 9th all time.

Of course careers tend to be longer these days with players entering the league around 19 and better conditioning and such keeping them healthy and young through their mid to late 30's.

Article describing how Harden has been a total prima donna and always gets his way in HOU.

I guess that's not surprising considering how it's all-Harden indulgence on court as well.

Strange how the article assigns no blame, mentioning Dantoni in passing while eliding Morey and ownership.
