We are pretty white.

That's sad that the brainwashing has prevented good folk from having open minds.

Yeah, its sad a lot of white people (NOT ALL WHITE PEOPLE) don't see non white people as Americans and instead of reaching out to then they make it harder for them to vote.

Independent council with unfettered subpoena power is up next. I’m sure the GOP will enjoy the scrutiny and find it highly beneficial to their upcoming reformation.

You cross Trump and Mitch they will see you are primaried. And you might have to find a real job.

Do you really think Mitch McConnel is aligned at this time with Senator Graham and Citizen Donald Trump?

I think Machiavellian Mitch tried to thread a needle with hanging rope.

It was hanging unused from the gallows built for Mike Pence.

He knew KNEW Trump was proven guilty, and said so, but he voted to acquit on a false technicality, an asterisk*. And it was an illegitimate asterisk, and one the Senate rejected, that having the trial was not in its jurisdiction. They voted it was.

But he and many of the others chose to ignore the ruling of the Senate and just play by the rules they wanted to play by.

That's anarchy.

And this ignores the fact he created the issue by not opening the Senate in a timely manner to hear the case.

But having said that MM feared losing his leadership position in the Senate so he kissed the asterisk*.

But he also knows that while Trump was acquitted 43-57, the real score might have been 40-60, or even 30-70, and even the "57" would indicate that most of American understood Trump's treason.

But he still has pull in the Red states and Mitch needs senators from those states if he has any chance of regaining the majority

and its all about power to Mitch.

So Trump may still bully and control the Repubs, most of America understands how corrupt and scared the Repubs are of Trump.

Its not a good look.

as for Lindsey maybe with a rub on the belly and a 'attaboy" from Trump he'll challenge Mitch for Republican Senate primacy.

but Graham doesn't strike me as an alpha dog.

He's a coward and history will not remember him kindly.

If the Repubs pin their hopes to Trump and Graham, IMO they're fucked.

I don’t know if republicans will even be providing defense attorneys for trump and Graham.

The Mitch wing will have to decide if it was all worth giving up the filibuster for.

Trump’s next act is to slowly water the tree of liberty via our judicial system.

Bank missed the part where just by going through with impeaching, not even convicting Trump the Democrats now need to face a Harris impeachment, if not others down the line.

Cooler heads will likely prevail - but rest assured there will be discussion - and a need/ask for public explanation by the VP, minimally.

Just a minor detail.

As someone who knows actual journalists and their professional standards,  I can tell you that, when running a four year old story,  it's considered basic competence to update the section where you have a deceased gentleman currently doing a national radio show.   Someone reading this article and seeing the "Feb 14, 2021" at the top,  might be in for a rude surprise when they seek out Mr Cain on the radio.   And it's not a minor detail to Mr Cain's family and friends,  I would imagine.

(and please post quotes of my post in context) (I had to paste the rest back in)

FBI does overreach sometimes

Caldwell's attorney denied his client is a member of the Oath Keepers or that he ever actually entered the U.S. Capitol building itself, citing physical ailments that would have prevented him from doing so.

Wow.

It’s what you have become, sock puppet with your bristly little mustache.

A rapidly growing majority share this opinion as republicans go out of their way every day to prove it is correct.

Here’s SNL’s send up summary of all your party’s positions, the variations of grabbing their ankles and gritting their teeth the republicans are capable of.

Cooler heads will likely prevail - but rest assured there will be discussion - and a need/ask for public explanation by the VP, minimally.

No Bank watched the hearings when "Slip n Fall"  Jimmy van der veen wanted to depose VP Harris in Philly.

and he suffered bi-partisan derision for the ambulance chasing hack he showed himself to be.

Kid Repubs used impeachment of Clinton as payback for Nixon.

so I would not be surprised to see them try and use impeachment in the future, if they ever regain the power to do so.

And kid-That you think there were no grounds for impeachment Trump is is fine with me, as I think you are a troll on your best days in Elba, and an idiot every day.

And your weak protests confirm my beleifs.

and kid even Mitch's closing statement stressed he thought the House manager proved their case of Trump's guilt.

I guess you missed that part.

LMAO
