Once convictions come in, a simple majority can apply the 14th amendment sanction on trump and other key players.

In the short term, the action is on the Garland nomination.

Independent council with unfettered subpoena power is up next. I’m sure the GOP will enjoy the scrutiny and find it highly beneficial to their upcoming reformation.

Counsel, I hope!

And no, not a shred!

We are pretty white.

That's sad that the brainwashing has prevented good folk from having open minds.

Yeah, its sad a lot of white people (NOT ALL WHITE PEOPLE) don't see non white people as Americans and instead of reaching out to then they make it harder for them to vote.

That's your opinion of all Republicans?

Wow.

That's your level of reading skill?

Wow.

He says "a lot of white people."

You respond with "your opinion of all Republicans?"

Wow.

Bank missed the part where just by going through with impeaching, not even convicting Trump the Democrats now need to face a Harris impeachment, if not others down the line.

Because the GOP doesn't need cause, just retribution, you're asserting.

Good to know you value their integrity.

Won't happen for at least two years. Probably not then, either. The House Republicans will remember.

FBI does overreach sometimes

Caldwell's attorney denied his client is a member of the Oath Keepers or that he ever actually entered the U.S. Capitol building itself, citing physical ailments that would have prevented him from doing so.

Bank missed the part where just by going through with impeaching, not even convicting Trump the Democrats now need to face a Harris impeachment, if not others down the line.

Cooler heads will likely prevail - but rest assured there will be discussion - and a need/ask for public explanation by the VP, minimally.

No Bank watched the hearings when "Slip n Fall"  Jimmy van der veen wanted to depose VP Harris in Philly.

and he suffered bi-partisan derision for the ambulance chasing hack he showed himself to be.

Kid Repubs used impeachment of Clinton as payback for Nixon.

so I would not be surprised to see them try and use impeachment in the future, if they ever regain the power to do so.

And kid-That you think there were no grounds for impeachment Trump is is fine with me, as I think you are a troll on your best days in Elba, and an idiot every day.

And your weak protests confirm my beleifs.

and kid even Mitch's closing statement stressed he thought the House manager proved their case of Trump's guilt.

I guess you missed that part.

LMAO

Nice.

You didnt address my comment on VP Harris's future.

Quality journalism....if only they updated their content....

Quote
8. Herman Cain — A Fortune 500 business leader, Cain emerged as a 2012 presidential candidate; afterward he worked as a Fox News Channel contributor and promoted the use of free enterprise policies for urban revitalization. Currently, Cain can be heard broadcasting conservative knowledge throughout the nation weekdays on his eponymous, midmorning radio show, taking over Neal Boortz’s coveted time slot when the talk radio icon retired.

(story was run in TODAY'S edition...)

Just a minor detail.

As someone who knows actual journalists and their professional standards,  I can tell you that, when running a four year old story,  it's considered basic competence to update the section where you have a deceased gentleman currently doing a national radio show.   Someone reading this article and seeing the "Feb 14, 2021" at the top,  might be in for a rude surprise when they seek out Mr Cain on the radio.   And it's not a minor detail to Mr Cain's family and friends,  I would imagine.

(and please post quotes of my post in context) (I had to paste the rest back in)
The context of your post was meaningless given your obvious neglect of the date of the content.
Not only was the proper date listed in the url it was displayed on the actual story.

It's not on the home page - no.

The part about the current date (LINKING to today's page) showing on all past content is true.  Not sure why they do that.

And no - of course I (and you - and everyone) dont think when someone dies all past content has to reflect this.

Kid-I addressed your idiocy on Repub's use of impeachment as retaliation for the Dems rightfully impeaching Trump.

You seem to think Dems should not do the right thing for fear of retaliation against Harris or others.

I think your option is a very dangerous path for democracy.

As to Harris

I dont have a crystal ball kid, but I'd give her an inside track on running for president.

She might even win.

She'll have to survive the impeachment issue though!!!

You think the Q-publicans run Jordan-MTG ticket against her.

KTLA 5 News

36 minutes

Nearly a quarter of fatal shootings by police in the U.S. involve mentally ill people. But advocates say registries of individuals with disabilities intended to avoid such incidents pose many problems.

-------------------

That is why you use Crisis Intervention Specialists instead of cops.

And you have Wellness Centers where people can get help. Like in Orange.

Use the cops for law enforcement, let Crisis Intervention Specialists deal with the mentally ill people, and with the homeless people, etc, there are many things that trained social professionals need to deal with instead of cops.

Orange County is already using Crisis Intervention Specialists, they are highly trained, and it is a good paying job, but it is a hard job and you need talent for it. I have a friend who is a Crisis Intervention Specialist and she owns her own house on the beach. It is a good job. And she deserves good pay, she is a good person who helps society.

The Crisis Intervention Specialists are trained for the hardest of situations, like a Combat Medic. As Combat Medics leave the service, they can become Crisis Intervention Specialists and they can have a nice home on the beach and they can have a good life. It is a good job for the right people, like the Combat Medics.

And a lot of veterans can find jobs at the Wellness Centers, etc, helping homeless veterans, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

No.  The impeachment was nonsense.  Political theater for purpose of future vote tallies.

Sad that our senators were used for such folly.
