Bambu, when there is no toilet paper on the shelf, then you are very grateful to have Mexican toilet paper. And when the grocery store shelves are empty, then you are grateful to have Mexican products.
And in California we have wineries which are like communes, each winery is like a little Tribe. If I have a vineyard and winery in Tuscany I want everyone to feel like one big family, I am going to hire workers from the Philippines, from Catanduanes, and from Manila, and we will have giant dinner parties with live bands for the workers, etc. Whatever they need will be covered.
And we have Native American Indian tribes that are wealthy from casinos, etc.
By my Mother's house, there is a neighborhood that is completely empty now, it used to be full of busy businesses, and they need for new immigrants to move in and to breath new life into the neighborhood. They need to open a Hawaiian Barbecue restaurant, and they can sell Italian clothes, and the immigrants can find other ideas for businesses to open. The immigrants need to move in and fill up all of the empty shops and open all of the empty restaurants.
We are lucky to have the Mexicans, they are great neighbors.
Salute,
Tony V.
