Clearly you have missed the point. Making saints out of petty criminals is the issue. These motherfucking losers are elevated to hero status PRIMARILY because they represent an acceptable lifestyle to the many who believe that whatever they do should be excused. They don't deserve to die, constitutionally or elswise, an argument that I have never made, but one assigned to me by those unwilling to admit that these motherfuckers aren't deserving of any memorials, statues, hero status, or anything else.

The problem is that you keep beating a strawman that no one actually has made, namely the absurd notion that anyone thinks these murder victims are saints or heroes.
Since no one here believes that, your constant harping on it appears to suggest that you want to diminish the horrific impact of their murders by reminding us what lowlifes they are.
Why do we remember Crispus Attucks? Not because he was saintly or special. He was a sailor and stevedore, just a guy who happened to be the first fatality in the American revolution. Did the Abolitionists later lionize him as a hero? Sure, they needed an icon, a focal point. So what? American towns are larded with memorials of the undeserving and unheroic.
