The 1980's were great in California, Reagan was great and he was loyal to California, it started going downhill in about 1990, and California went downhill the whole time Bill Clinton was President, the General Motors plant in Van Nuys closed and went to Canada, and a lot of movie and television jobs were lost to Canada. Bill Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar, he studied in England, so he is on the side of England and he does not care if California loses jobs to Canada.
It seems like everyone is just taking from California instead of building here now. We need to put California first again instead of sending jobs to Canada and to China and to other places.
And we need for Americans to buy the Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City from the Japanese, maybe the Seminole Tribe will join together with the San Manuel Tribe and with some other wealthy tribes to buy it.
California is lucky to have Disney and Disneyland.
We need to tell Canada and China "No" and we need to focus on creating jobs for our own people here in California, and we need to get back to the basics.
We have people coming here from all over the world for opportunity, and we have people coming to our Southern Border, we have plenty of workers, and we have great schools, we will bounce back.
Universal Studios is American owned again, a company from Pennsylvania bought it. When I worked at Universal it was owned by the Japanese, and then Canadians bought it, now it is American owned again.
California will bounce back, we just need to get back to the basics. And we were built on the foundation provided by Athens, and Rome, we need to get back to the basics.
Salute,
