But it is not an isolated attack. In February left-wing types retweeted a family photo of PM Scott Morrison with Jenny and their teenage daughters, complaining that the flowing dresses Jenny and the girls wore were "Amish".

Kid and Ward have no urge to reduce the number of guns in our country, to restrict access to those guns, or much else.

Kid wants those with mental health issues blocked from having guns, but has no willingness to actually fund our mental health system.

The only way to stop school massacres now is to stop shooters and guns getting into schools...physical barriers, plus cops/FBI standard armed security guards etc.

OK...having said that, it's time now to do what Australia did after "The Port Arthur Massacre"...ban the sale to, and possession by...the general public of semi-auto and auto assault rifles/shotguns/rifles...only bolt action rifles and single shot shotguns allowed...New Zealand did the same after "The Christchurch Massacre".

About the new Georgia Jim Crow Laws suppressing voter turnouts


Four years ago, in the previous midterm election, a total of 555,089 votes were cast in the GeorgiaDemocratic gubernatorial primary  424,305 for Stacey Abrams, and 130,784 for her rival Stacey Evans.

This year, the preliminary total turnout in Georgia Democratic gubernatorial primary was 708,559  even though Abrams was running unopposed for her party gubernatorial nomination.
In other words, not only did the law decried as Jim Crow 2.0,Jim Crow on steroids,and Jim Eagle increase overall turnout; under the new law, 27 percent more people voted in the Democratic primary even with an uncontested race. This is the odd voter suppression bill that results in many, many, many more people voting.
Unsurprisingly, turnout increased on the Republican side as well. In 2018, 608,380 people voted in the first round of the GOP gubernatorial contest (Brian Kemp and Casey Cagle went to a runoff, where 588,307 Georgia Republicans voted.) This year, 1,189,921 Georgians voted in the GOP primary.

Somewhat inaccurate.  You cannot buy handguns from a federal licensee, but Texas law permits purchase from other dealers, and does not require a carry license.

Beside the point, however.  It is likely the majority of his murders were done with the AR-15 that he bought right after his 18th birthday, about a week ago.  With high-capacity magazines to go with it.  Also legally purchased.

Gosar is just nuts, Paxton (who just won his primary in a landslide) is dangerously stupid and manipulative.  In spite of multiple felony indictments and years of corruption, he won easily.  This is not how politics is supposed to work.  This is partly owing to the loss of independent local news outlets that can fund investigative journalism and pursue the activities of corrupt officials.

Do not forget the evil of white nationalist preachers in fascist anti-Christian mega churches urging their flocks to support murderous criminal republican hacks instead of honest politicians who might serve the interests of their constituents rather than contribute directly or indirectly to their untimely deaths.

This is a big problem in most states and needs to be stopped.
