I'm not sure how this can be considered any sort of win for Biden.

Republicans cannot sink the economy unless they win an election. That was achieved with zero major concessions.

Debt ceiling raised for TWO years. Democrats gave up symbolic concessions which can be wiped clean after 2024.

Senate passed the deal.

Despite being a doddering old fool who cannot find his pants and has to be told when to use the restroom BIDEN ROLLED THE GOP.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/06/01/biden-debt-ceiling-deal-victory/

But in decades of writing about budget standoffs and ideological clashes, I can not recall another moment when a president achieved total victory and then tried to pass it off as a painful compromise.
That is what President Biden did when he delivered a remarkably one-sided win on the debt limit this week. And it tells you something, I think, about how he intends to run for reelection.

The debt ceiling argument was about the debt ceiling and paying bills already incurred. Any negotiations over budget priorities were for another time and place. Biden recognized this when he said he would not negotiate.

That is because you are a nihilist.

I thought it was Biden at his most Biden. It never occured to me that he would not negotiate.

Jesus!

The GOP took the world economy hostage.

Biden saved the hostage AND the ransom.

The borders are not open. Lingering on the false idea that they are is disgraceful.
So is the habit of blaming immigrants for unrelated problems, like homelessness. But luee is proud of his hate.

I have a place in Tampa 55+ basically a trailer home with pool and clubhouse. just mentioned it was up for rent and people are throwing money at me. 2000 a month and up used to be able to rent for under 500 before sleepy Joe took over. Nothing to do with mass immigration! Get real!

Other than them being a convenient scapegoat, you have no evidence that immigration has anything to do with skyrocketing real estate prices in Tampa as opposed to, say, the prohibitive cost of insuring dwelling structures in a hurricane zone. Or are you seriously claiming illegal immigrants are working jobs that owe them to rent 2k a month hovels?

Neither
does Joe.
61 % of voters think a second term for him would be some sort of a disaster/setback for the country sent him begging to McCarthy.

That explains why 2/3 of the Republican senators voted against it.

Because they want bigger cuts and their votes on this bill were not needed.
The dems HAD to support it or concede 2024 to the GOP.

Now we can go back to isolating foreign money and terrorists from right wing politics thereby cutting off republicans from their life blood and stopping them from ruining America.

LOL. Always nice to see the Bubble's desperate spin attempts to avoid admitting the right wing got panted by someone they think is senile.

IIRC FL housing prices are due to shortfall in the housing supply which worsened during covid pandemic.  Large numbers of native born moving to the state exacerbated the shortage.  One reason contractors fail to keep up is a combo of supply chain problems and shortages of cheap construction labor.  You know, the kind of cheap labor provided by, um...
