City of Anaheim- Municipal Government

Even -- and perhaps especially -- amid the pandemic, we've not slowed down on our homeless outreach efforts here in Anaheim.
In January we launched the new Community Care Response Team, enhancing and increasing our ongoing outreach with our partners at City Net.
The team operates 14 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the city, and also operates a dedicated Anaheim call center for calls from the community related to homelessness.
If you know someone in need, or have a concern about a homeless situation in your neighborhood, report it at Anaheim.net/anytime or call (714) 820-9090.
In a little more than a month, the team responded to more than 700 calls, made contact with more than 380 people on Anaheim's streets and helped more than 64 people get into housing or shelter.
The team has also distributed COVID-19 resources such as face masks, hand sanitizer and information on where to get tested or vaccinated.
The team is off to a great start, and we're encouraged to see what they'll do in month two.

We also have the new Wellness Center in Orange, and we have the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana. And people in Orange County can dial 2-1-1 on their cell phones if they become homeless and people will help them.
Salute,
