FRANCE 24 English

5 hours  ยท

Riots at three jails in #Ecuador  left at least 62 inmates dead and several injured on Tuesday, authorities reported as the nation battles severe prison overcrowding and frequent violence between rival gangs

-----------------

On the issue of over-crowded prisons around the world...

The good people need to reach the children when they are young, before they become criminals, and we need to steer the children in the right direction. We need to instill in the children a love of reading, and a joy of learning, and we need to teach the children how good it feels to help other people. And we need to teach the children to treat other people the way that we ourselves wish to be treated, and that we should love our neighbors as Jesus commanded. We need to raise the children to be doctors, instead of criminals. There can be more colleges, and fewer prisons.

Colombia is making a lot of progress, because of Shakira and the focus on educating the children in Colombia.

We need to educate the children, and we can have more doctors and fewer criminals.

Salute,

Tony V.

Right now people are raising children to be gang members instead of doctors, everyone wants to see who can be the toughest instead of who can be the smartest. And people want easy jobs for stupid people, like prison guards and border patrol agents and immigration agents, and other jobs for stupid people. We need more college professors and fewer prison guards.

And right now in the USA, one third of our doctors are foreign born, we are raising gang members instead of doctors.

As we work to improve the economy here in California as we rise from the corona crisis...

One thing that we need to do, is that we as a State need to collectively market California products to China. Here in Anaheim we as a City collectively market our City around the world for Tourism, and Tourism creates over 160,000 jobs in Orange County (Before the corona crisis). We as a State can collectively market California products to China the same way Anaheim collectively markets our City for Tourism.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/24/politics/new-hampshire-chris-sununu-maggie-hassan/index.html

Sununu is a dream recruit for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, as he seeks to retake the majority his party lost in the 2020 election. Not only is Sununu extremely popular in the state, but he also carries a very well-known last name in the Granite State. His father, John H. Sununu, was the governor of the state as well as chief of staff to former president George H.W. Bush. His brother, John E. Sununu, was a single-term senator from New Hampshire. He won the seat in 2002 and lost it to former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D) in 2008.
Hassan, meanwhile, is one of the only Democrats up in 2022 who is widely regarded as vulnerable. She beat Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R) in 2016 by just 1,017 votes while taking only 48% of the overall vote. (An independent candidate took 2%.)

Yep

It was always going to be winnable, seeing how Hassan won by such a small margin last time out -

but Sununu would be a great candidate.

Still looks good for the Dems for '22, at least in the Senate.

Is there a discriminatory college entrance selection system against Americans, particularly White ones...and in favour of non-White foreigners?

Way too early for predictions on Sununu-Hassan. She beat an incumbent senator to win her seat to begin with and was an equivalently popular governor, herself.

And NH politics these days is way too volatile.

Easy jobs for stupid people?
Not everyone has the intellect or suitability to become a doctor....myself for example.
Working at Walmart selling guns and ammo would be more my style.
Prison guard is not an easy job.
Border patrol agent, and immigration agent are not easy jobs.

Minimal 5 point win for Sununu

Hassan vs someone else a tossup.
