I'm not sure why a Senator from NY and a congresswoman from CA, states with high property values (some owned by wealthy people, and some not) are phonies for fighting for the rights of their constituents.

Bernie is right however that increased SALT deductions in mostly blue states, will be exploited by and talking pointed by the Repubs, the traditional party of the down-trodden and the party that siphoned off $2 trillion in tax savings (and some provided by reduced SALT deducts) for the top 1% and the largest corporations.

In which she was outbid for housing, but... it's racism.

Oh, okay.

She was not attributing the bidding war to racism. (she mentioned, correctly, the effects of coronavirus on buying trends, and shortages of affordable new housing)  You have to read the entire article.  She said racism existed in access to financial instruments, steering, and redlining, and more generally historical forces that blocked PoC families from developing investments in the country's real estate stock.  And posted sources to back her claims.  You should try that sometime.

Only off by 12. Ras seems to be getting less bold in its bullshit unlike the rest of the treason industrial complex formerly known as the republican party.

Meanwhile, in the plague pits of Florida...

https://apnews.com/article/biden-coronavirus-approval-rating-efcc859a21a0ab6c43dfb4157987bf80

In the fourth month of his presidency, Biden’s overall approval rating sits at 63%. When it comes to the new Democratic president’s handling of the pandemic, 71% of Americans approve, including 47% of Republicans.

The AP-NORC poll also shows an uptick in Americans’ overall optimism about the state of the country. Fifty-four percent say the country is on the right track, higher than at any point in AP-NORC polls conducted since 2017; 44% think the nation is on the wrong track.

Seems high to me, (I got the deplorables and iredeemables at around 35%) but even deplorables like to have some walking around money even if they won't get vacced.

But kid's ras poll seems literally unbelievable.

America is getting healthy, getting vacced, is coming out of hiding, and many just got several thousands in cash.

Whats not to like?

I read the piece, because unlike a lot of people here, I read what I post.

 I also read the headline.

She's essentially ticked off because she lost the house of her dreams, and then she goes on to make it about being black.

No, it isn't about her being black. it was about her getting outbid, andd outplayed at the game.

The complaint about "gentrification", too, adds to the "poor us" attitude. She's for integration, but only on her terms.

Got it.

Bottom line, better learn this song:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv9sDn_2XkI

Maybe the Rasmussen Poll is done by polling only people named Rasmussen.

How many times have you had a black woman supervisor?

It’s not hard to figure out where your feelings of inadequacy originate.
